@@JustAGuyThatsAPumpkin wdym??? They did it, they made the whole thing but never officially release it, they only showed on a film festival but it exists, and i bet you can find it on RU-vid
i didn't really watch the original dhmis videos. But i've binged all of these new episodes i could find and they're incredible to me. The symbolism, comedy, and creepiness is all perfectly done.
Finally a reactor who actually REACTS!! I am so excited to see how you react to the next two episodes especially. Your laugh is awesome and I'm so glad you've enjoyed it so much. Genuinely, I think the new series did a FANTASTIC job of moving to long form. It's far more funny and deep, I think. You've got a new subscriber here!
I love all the little touches. With symbolism and everything else. This series feels like a different beast from the original. It's nostalgic, but you can tell they really pushed to build the trio as characters and tell a more compelling story because of that. The writers are the og's, salone, pelling, and terry, but I believe there's 1 or 2 new writers they got to help make this series fit so much better as a tv show. This show feels like what all revivals should be doing, improving on weaker elements by adding something new. In reality the show is almost nothing like the webseries, it's better by trying to be its own thing.
People were trying to figure out which one of them got killed in the ending, Duck or Stain, but its definitely made ambiguous. There ARE maggots in the pool of gore so it could be Duck, but he is supposed to be full of steam, And if its Stain, did he actually go through the trouble of shapeshifting all his insides to be blood and organs? The creators LOVE to screw with people, its probably more important to them than actual consistency lol
Loved the intro, it’s so funny and cute! The transition between joyous laughter and horrified screaming at 6:21 made me laugh too! Awesome reaction all around!
this episode is the funniest of the new season, which is amusing considering the subject matter at hand lol. duck is the MVP, he's the character that makes me laugh the most since they gave him more of a personality! glad you're digging the show, seeing people react to DHMIS is one of my favorite things-- i've been obsessed with this show since the OG webseries
Regarding your comment on Duck representing old people, some people believe that Duck represents boomers that think they know everything, Red Guy represents twenty something year-old millennials that don’t know what to do with their lives, and Yellow Guy represents kids
None of the characters have canonical ages but I think they're sort of supposed to represent different age groups. Personally I think they're all like 30ish or just ageless but it's up to what you think tbh.. But yeah I think personality wise, yellow guy represents a child, red guy represents a teenager/young adult(?), and duck represents an old man.
Something important to know is this second season has even more easter eggs and I think every single time I've seen these chapters I keep finding even more details, wich is great considering I've seen it 4 different times already, and I'm hyped to see it again a fifth time on this channel
Great video as always, I don't think I've found someone who has been having as much fun with these jokes as you to be honest. I find their humor pretty good but it's not something I'm outright laughing too hard about. You have a good eye with catching little details, I also didn't even consider the idea that each of these might be different guys from other episodes, that would explain the episodic nature of this particular series.
@@pundertalefan4391 So you’re saying that A) The maggots crawled out of Duck and hid offscreen B) Duck magically swapped places with Stain during the song and no one noticed C) The maggots crawled into Stain’s corpse in the time it took for his body to hit the ground
@@username5155 No. I'm saying that they might have just fallen off of him. Also, if you pay attention, Duck and Stain switch places a few times during the song sequence. We genuinely don't know who died.
i can confirm all dead people do in fact get a wreath i remember clearly after me and Matt did glorious battle with that giant spider and died, the grim reaper came and picked our souls up by the hand and gave us matching wreaths, it was a very moving moment that i will remember for as long as i live. on a different note a common theory on this episode is that it was Clay guy that killed Duck at the end of the episode, the logic is that 1 the duck that kills with the shovel at the end is standing to the left, thats the same place that Clay guy stood before the last song played 2 if you look closely at the severed head of the dead duck you can see some maggots in the blood my counter arguments to this theory 1 Clay guy doesn't seem like the guy to kill at random, i feel Clay is too pure and innocent to just at random kill a guy for no real reason unlike Duck who i can absolutely see kill "this thing" as he call Clay guy over the number 4 not working in the intro song 2 the whole "maggots in the blood" thing can be easily explained by the fact that duck was fully covered in maggots when he was in the casket and we are left to believe Yellow guy just digged him up and brought him home so the maggots in the blood of Clay duck are most likely just some maggots that was thrown off Duck's body when he swung the shovel
Despite betting money in episode 1 of DHMIS, in episode 2 Duck no longer has money. This can only mean he somehow spent physical money despite not being able to leave. How did he spend all his money?
someone thought of a very fitting connection that what the lamp character meant by dying and putting on a performance to earn pounds by the council as a super race is telling yellow guy that we the audience are seeing them performing In the show and that by earning currency is the reward and even if they are shown to die, us the council will just keep them alive as long as they keep performing as characters to do a well done act otherwise they actually will die and the act is ready to end and we move on to engage in another new performance.
I think the lamp got sober. Also, I don't think you need to be corrected more about Poorly. I'm American, I only know that word from Beatrix Potter stories. XD
The humor all around in the episode to me felt like the kind of humor from a Scott the Woz video, were characters handle a serious topic with no respect though dialog in a way that's funny. Obviously not a one to one comparison, since Yellow Guy does feel grief over the "death" of Duck, but kind of the same.
Hes full of hot smoke? What in the actual hell does that mean bro those words dont mean anything to my ears like why do you think the smoke is HOT im so confused
i think this series its just so out of box that it cant be criticized, i just like a paint, you cant criticize a paint , its just a expression of art and you dont have any rules to base a argument
I wish I enjoyed watching stuff as much as you do. Not to say I didn't enjoy it cause I obviously did, this episode, and series is fantastic, but you know what I mean.
