Horses that slow/stop for you to get your balance back are the best 🥺💞 I used to ride a horse who slowed down between two jumps because I lost my balance over the first, and then immediately got us back in action for the second jump! Btw, do you ever get nervous doing sharp turns or circles? I've been doing lessons for years and STILL find them terrifying lol. Especially in indoor arenas- the walls make everything seem closer! 😂
Omg Clara!!!! Well sat 🎉🎉! I love that you take all the bad lessons and learn from them! ❤ You are such a wonderful rider, everyone has bad days! You and daisy are a match made in heaven ❤ Ilyyyyy
I had a random thought the other day… I wonder how long someone has gone before their first fall. Cuz obviously everyone falls off at some point but how long did someone go without their first fall?! Lol
Awe Daisy is adorable! I’m glad to see someone who doesn’t has a horse because I sadly don’t have the money and the room for a horse so I just take pony lessons. I have watched all of your videos i am a huge fan! Hope you have a great lesson remember me when your famous lmao!
Well sat!! Also another crazy story, I’m half-baiting the goodest but sassiest of boys and when we trotted he bucked and spooked at his idol (Tintel a black horse) I was so shocked it was my first buck that I sat😭
hey clara you are doing SO good! your seat looks amazing and omg your no stirrup 2 point was incredible! the only tip i have for you this time is to try not to lean your upper body forwards anytime except 2 point (ex. rising trot, sitting trot). and for going over the poles you dont have to go that deep into a two point, just slightly stand up! btw great job staying on! horses make sure you dont fall are the sweetest, anyways i cant wait to see your saddlepads come in!
Thank you so much!!! Yeessss that’s definitely something I struggle with a lot lately. I need to lean back more and sit more in my seat, it’s just such a hard habit to break and I’ve really been struggling with it 😕 any tips would be great!
@@RidewithClara yes its def a really habit to break! i actually used to have that issue as well but ive found that leaning really far back does help, because if always feels so much more than how it looks. also i would try to sit back into your saddle, once you sit in the right spot and position you will feel a big difference, and everything will be so much smoother! for the horses that throw their head or pull you down (even though daisy is a legit angel) just add more leg and pick their head up with the reins because this can also cause leaning forward. one thing i learned from all my years of riding is to not be afraid to put power or force into your movements. i dont mean that you should be rough/ mean with the animal, but remember they are 1000 pound animals and although some horses (like daisy) might be really well behaved, they still have a mind of their own so if they dont listen, dont be afraid to really pick their head up, because the horses will trip over their own head or legs and you will probably end up falling. your saftey is more important and trust me, you arent hurting the horse. i used to be so scared of using force, but it really cant do much to the horse. just dont overdo it! I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG ITS SO HARD TO EXPLAIN ALL THIS IN A FEW SENTANCES BUT I HOPE THIS HELPS CANT WAIT FOR ANOTHER VIDEO
you’re so lucky you got to get adjusted i’ve been wanting to forever 😭 my horse gets body work, chiropractic, and acupuncture but i can’t even get a damn massage
When you sit your trot try and keep your hands toward you so you can feel their mouth. It works better for me to feel their speed a bit more xx ily vids xxxx
It’s definitely fun to have but if your barn provides them I’d say in the beginning there are definitely other equipment/riding gear etc in our expensive hobby/industry that we need to cash in our coins for 😂 Can’t say I haven’t bought a new saddle pad for me and my daughter recently tho lol 😉 😂
I love your videos❤ me and my trainer did a lesson of only thinking of the right diagonal in the trot and that helped me so much now I don’t even have that much trouble getting the diagonal!🐴😁
