There are some songs that just "hit" you.. this is one of them! They're singing it here for the Dove Awards as "entertainment"....I wouldn't be shocked if they are up on that stage for the 51st Dove Awards for this song winning "Best Song"... I love ALL OF YOU MERCYME!!!!
Christine Abbott Many will think of this as “entertainment”, but I see it differently... Those who may not truly know Jesus will be reached and I believe God uses EVERYTHING for His good! Even one lost sheep is precious to our Father!!!
Amen! It will be the most amazing family reunion ever as we see our loved ones and more importantly, Jesus the Christ, the son of the living God. Our savior and redeemer.
Every time I hear this song, I bawl my eyes off. This song is so powerful, anointed and encouraging!! Saints, we are almost home. Stay on the course. Don’t lose hope. For in due time, all this pain will be gone forever and ever and ever. What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, when I look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the promised land, what a day, a glorious day that will be!
Andrea - my sweet wife for 45+ years passed away this past March due to a rare cancer. She was the strongest Christian woman I ever knew and she was also the bravest as she faced her eternity...…. she received her healing "home, in heaven" as the Lord walked her through that valley of the shadow. My heart aches as I miss her but knowing she has finished her race and is without pain and is in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus, gives me a peace that is without understanding! This song is #truth!
“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” - Matthew 26:28 (KJV) “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” - Luke 24:47 (KJV) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” - Acts 2:38 (KJV) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12 (KJV) “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” - Acts 8:12 (KJV) “(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” - Acts 8:16 (KJV) Acts 10 (KJV) ⁴⁸ And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” - Acts 19:5 (KJV) “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” - Mark 16:16 (KJV) 1 Peter 3 (KJV) ²⁰ Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. ²¹ The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” - Colossians 2:12 (KJV) Matthew 3 (KJV) ¹³ Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. ¹⁴ But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? ¹⁵ And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. Acts 10 (KJV) ⁴⁷ Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? “And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” - Acts 22:16 (KJV) Romans 6 (KJV) ³ Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? ⁴ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: ⁶ Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. ⁷ For he that is dead is freed from sin. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” - Mark 16:17 (KJV) “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” - Acts 2:4 (KJV) Acts 10 (KJV) ⁴⁴ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. ⁴⁵ And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. ⁴⁶ For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” - Acts 19:6 (KJV) Romans 8 (KJV) ⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” - 1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJV) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” - Titus 3:5 (KJV) John 3 (KJV) ⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Just seen MercyMe in concert this past Friday (June 4). They are amazing, I could feel the love and the spirit coming from them while they were on stage.
I just love this group from the moment I heard the song I Can't Imagine. Way before the movie. I heard by a church band back in 2009 or 2010. Movie came out early 2019
I was suppose to go to their tour in 2019 but I was in the hospital awaiting surgery. One of my goals is to see these guys in concert. I love their music.
I am almost home. My days are short on this land, and going to be going home to be with Jesus. God be with you!! My service plans are in at my church and my song is “ I can only Imagine “. My sons went through a life like yours and i was there with them. We were all abused, and when they had their families I started a new life with a new partner. “Jesus Christ”🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️
