Today at age 76 I felt alone even though there are 4 others in my home, I have felt useless even though I want to do things for my family but they just do not want anything I cook, create, I have felt useless and this songs words and why it was created has given me some peace. It does not 'cure' the non-believing household but I know I need to keep praying being strong with the word, pick up my bible and read even if I cannot understand the words for the moment. Thank you..all of you. May the Lord shine on each of you.

Your little girl is privileged to have a father who loves and shows love and concern for her.

I never had a relationship with my father and I have felt unlovable unworthy and unwanted my whole life. This song touched me to the core of my heart. And I felt loved by My Father in Heaven finally

I play this song for the women in my Bible study at the county jail. There is never a time that there aren't a lot of tears. Many of these women have never heard that before. Some have only heard it when someone wanted something from them. Hearing that Jesus thinks they are beautiful is overwhelming for them.

As a dad of both 25 and 21 year old daughters and a son of 13 you hit the nail on the head and God's incrediable Love is life changing and awesome.

I was broken and lost for 16 1/2 years after my daughter went home to the Lord but listening to mercyme music started to heal me and my broken heart and soul love them

My girlfriend has been going through some really tough times lately and this song has really been sticking out to me along the way. I just pray that she starts to see herself the way I see her and, more importantly, the way God sees her.

This song touches me at the very depth of my soul There is nothing without Jesus. I was so lost and after 20 years of ignoring what Christ has done for me, he touched me and he changed me. My dad loved me unconditionally. My mom was abusive. They greatest thing I’ve done in my life is accept Jesus in my heart. I have grown and learned so much. I love giving hope. This group there is not just word to describe the good they do! I believe with every song they sing the holy spirit is present, there is always so much love that shines threw even their fun songs are uplifting! Since 2003-2004 "I can only imagine" on my pop station this song came through and brought me to my knees and crying and standing still with that thought of if Jesus stood before me or beside me what would I do. I was abused from the age of three by my dad, mentally and physically. Grew up and married a man just as bad as my dad. I thought I was not worthy to be loved, I thought I was not worthy to be loved. After three attempts to commit suicide, that even didn't go right. Thank you for this beautiful song and awesome testimony truly from the heart. Why would he love me? I am nothing or that's what I've been told for so many years.

It is good to be reminded that the only difference between us and them is that we are forgiven. We are still broken people in a broken world. What gets us through is being surrounded by such love, forgiveness and peace, that we can take our eyes off ourselves and actually see each other. Let our lights shine!

Bart, Thank you so much for this song. I had heard it played on Christian radio many times over the years but it wasn't until one day in 2014 that I really listened to the words and found a special message just for me. You see I right in the middle of cancer treatment. I had had surgery, and at least 2 chemo treatments. I was scarred physically and emotionally, I was bald from the chemo, and bloated from the steroids. In my mind I was anything but beautiful. I was driving home from another doctor appointment when the song came on the radio and the line " you were made for much more than this." caught my attention. As I listened to the whole song I started bawling ( not something you want to do as you are driving in heavy traffic.) The song reminded me that Jesus looks at us with x-ray vision. He can see the hurts we try to hide inside and he can see our hearts that are broken and bleeding and crying out for someone to love us with a love we have never known before. An unconditional love that would send one to die on a cross for us even though we didn't deserve such love. Thank for writing this for your kids because we are all someone's kids but most of us don't have father's that are song writers. God bless.

I called this God's song to me. I remember when I prepaid for it and I was going through the most difficult time in my life. I opened the CD once. I got it, put it on and that song just stuck with me. I knew it was directly from God. It helped me through the worst days.
