Hero, what I didn't know, and I can tell from your play video segment, the frozen orbs are set to explode at the point of where your mouse is when released. This tidbit helped my success a lot.
Thanks for pushing Sorc to the max, really enjoyed playing with the build. Not sure I can stay sane this season with the current sorc boss damage tho so I’m switching to Barb or Necro now to push pits on easy mode
The grind for pushing is crazy… stamina can only last so long for a person… to think this season has been out for just a bit. I bet it’s insane what a person can do that’s out for that challenge of getting the most perfect if perfect gear…. One needs a team to help with all the gear possibilities. I feel the new defensive skill changes are paving a way for sorcs to not have to rely on this. That is a great thing imo. I would hate to grind this out every season. But what they lacked to do that would really matter for us is boss damage output so we do not have to stand in a fight for 5+ minutes spamming away and ending the day with sore hands and joints. And that is reality!
I am currently at 5.07 sec flame shield, with a cooldown of 10.57. CD on every piece you can get with multiple tempering hits. I still die on occasion but I do have a few more tempers to finish up and hopefully will hit at least one out of the two gear items left with CD on it to hit. Also you have to spec attack speed for your ice blades and need to hit around 65%. I am at 32.4. I just rerolled my ring with greater affix and spent about 200 million rerolling it to hit that on temper. What a time/gold sink this build has been.
Yeah it’s pretty hard to spec and I also occasionally have it go down. It’s really weird that it’s inconsistent. Like 95% of the time it’s perma, just randomly it goes down with a fraction of a second and I’ll get nuked if it’s a bad time

it is so nice sorcs have you :D builds shines with your touches. my goal is finishing p100 without holybolt then try other sorcs builds. right now playing with vyr variant without tibault. you helped me a lot thx for efforts and nice works
the only reason he could is because of the flameshield immortal build so yeah its not really a great clear i want him see him do that without being immortal for msot of the time then i will call it a great clear
I mean I cleared a 104 with the standard Vyrs Version. The immortal version only exists because I got tired of fighting bosses for 5 minutes just to get 1 shot randomly at 25% health. Becomes just a numbers game of running til you get lucky and don’t scuff it. Immortal takes out some of the variances
@@Lurkin17 the skill check for sorc is pressing your flame shield at the exact second it comes up for 7 minutes straight and praying the server doesnt eat your input otherwise you get one shot. Boss fights being difficult is one thing, but there is alredy added difficulty in diablo 4 gr bossfights beacuse of the insane time loss on death paired with the boss healing to full.
In your opinion do you think the Immortal Vyrs or Immortal Esus is better? I tend to really like high attack speed, so I would think Esus seems more comfortable, but it looks like they pushed further with a Vyrs setup?
Immortal Esus is Easier to build. because of the giga high attack speed making the gearing less of a concern. but it has way less damage. like i cap at T105 with it. Immortal vyrs is just stronger
Cool build! I wonder how much stronger it's gonna be if/once they fix the horrible vulnerable-related bugs that are not just on the board, but also in the skilltree...
Oofa. Hopefully one of ya'll will find a blizzard or some other build that's capable of going further, as this does indeed look to be the limit of frozen orb as we currently understand it. Honestly kinda wonder why Blizzard seems to like screwing sorcs so often.
I tried building Immortal Esus, but I feel very squishy compared to Vyrs + Ubers. Monsters kill me in just one or two hits. I hope you have another better build. I still prefer Vyrs + Ubers. :(
Yeah, the same crazy gear you landed here woulda had you pushing 130's with Necro simply rolling your face across the keyboard. These kinda builds are next to impossible for casual gamers! Blizzard need to show some Sorc love mid season. Nice video though and good work.
Yup. It’s absolutely bonkers I have the most giga busted gear in the game and I’m still flailing like a magikarp at level 12. I even have a new amulet with 5 ranks to conj mastery and it’s a struggle
I do love your build, but when I see boss damage I want to cry. Really hoping Blizzard hotfixes affix bugs, and even give slight love buff to Sorc single target. Common lets us see some big number on Sorc too not just Barb, Necro, etc .. If you ask me, I would love Meteor Pit Pusher/bosser.

Question I don't like close damage, since we get tons of crit would it be worth rolling crit hit damage from the rogue marksmen temper? it doesn't have a tag for specifically marksmen
@@Lurkin17 Haha yeah, I have to admit that it does feel kind of bad to be locked out of things like Torment boss farming or high Pit levels at my current gear level. I could go the Immortal Firebolt route, which seems easier to gear, but Frozen Orb is just too damn fun to give up.
@@Lurkin17 Hey man, I've been following your mobalytics guides. I only have a Shako right now. With my gear there's 3's where I'm not covered by Flame Shield. Do you still think that this is worth investing in or am I better off with the regular Vyr's version of the build and taking more DPS?
You can do it with the regular Vyrs version. The immortal version can be ran as Vyrs or ancient flame esus ferocity. Vyrs has more damage but must give up starless to get the attack speed.
Nice build but I just do not want to play an immunity build because the game play is just so boring. If you are falling asleep while playing the build then it is not for me. I would rather not do Tier 100+ Pits.
@@Lurkin17 why blizzard tells nothing about it? why patches for balance changes take months? PTR WAS A JOKE! They nerfed it to the ground, i wish i could play diablo 4 more than 10 days a season. They don't give us the possibility to play higher tiers , what's the point? i have shako and starless, which is insane already, we can't do more than 115 maybe 120 pit as a community and we must use a fkn boring immune build to do so coz we are lucky lurkin exist and he made that otherwise we are walled on 100. The best diablo 4 season became the worst.

I'm juat bot liking sorcerer at all. I can do the damage, but at 9,600k armor and 14000 life I just get one shot even with barriers up constantly and a ton of damage mitigation
This hurts my soul. In PTR FO sorc was much better. Why the nerf to the amulet/lucky hit on frozen orb while pit got buffed like crazy and 1 shots also. I guess my sorc will sleep this season. Ppl say.."but u can do other content" well I can with every class do helltides and basic sht is the same. Bet WHERE it matters, sorc has the short straw. Too much optimizing to get something out of it and still feel weaker than others.
If you can get the CDR to work you should really consider a staff. Tal rasha sucks so if you get rid of it you can have as many aspects but probably double the damage if not more. Yes a staff does significantly more damage because of the frozen orb aspect.
This is not easy to build. The stat break points you need to hit are only made by near, very near perfect gear and tempers. I do not think this version needs nerfed. It is really really hard to achieve.
Yeah that’s why I started with the standard version as my main build. This “immortal” version is not even fully immortal unless bossing and your gear is perfect

@lurkin i got attack speed rare, int rare 135 , 7 crit chance ,RING, i did mw on attack speed , cold dmg /res gen tempers. Should i sub tal'rasha 15% / 60% unique trait ? i have skies and harlequin. I unfortunately lose the CDR of talrash but attackspeed.

I’m following your Ball lightning zues tank on Mobalytics and it’s saying to get tanks to core skills on my gloves. We don’t use any core skills. Is there a reason you want core skill ranks on the gloves? Hopefully you reply back because I don’t want to masterwork anything if the site is incorrect
Ball Lightning is a core skill. Check the skill tree and hover over ball lightning. it has mastery and core tags. they changed it going into this season
@@Lurkin17 thats what Im sayin: the enchant does not spawn amulet conjurations. Tested it for quite some time by just teleporting and activating barriers - not a single time was a conjuration spawnt after a frorb.
It does. But other don’t ramp up as hard when mobbing so they can flail a bit there. Frozen orb just ramps the fastest so it’s the most clean and fast to mob with. Ball Lightning has some play, but I can’t be asked to do this gear grind again for that
Min maxing in this new gear system is even more tedious than before. Other than tempering and the changes to codex for aspects, gearing for end game before was a bit better i think.

So I followed the Esus Immortal build with the link in the video but it seems like the Paragon board on the site and the paragon board in your video don't match? Which one should I use? I followed the website and now my resistances are under 70%.
So for the immortal build we dropped some resistance because the focus is pure boss damage to push the limits of what tier it can go. We sacrifice res.
@@Lurkin17 gothca. My resistances are at about 65% so I suppose I could substitute a skull for a royal diamond in my jewelry to make up the & difference if I feel like I need them over 70%. @@Lurkin17 Instead of aspect of fortune, how do you think aspect of protector would hold up since damaging an elite/boss gives that extra barrier. Could be useful if theres a second or two of downtime for flameshield?
This build is depressing. Watching other classes get huge dps and clearing pit 110 and higher on farm and we have a highly specialized build around flame shield cheese… Really don’t get why this unique was nerfed from PTR.
if your flameshield is almost permanent why not dropping some resistance/armor for more damage tallents/paragon/tempers and play a total glass cannon kinda thing?
The board got changed as the build evolved. It’s a process of discovery and fiddling with things until you see better results. No one gets it right the first time usually

Gear issue my dude. It’s very masterwork intensive. You need like 45-50% CDR and a 5.3+ second flame shield and high attack speed. It’s why I have a standard tanky variant
Oh miss me with that shit. I actually didn’t and I’ve been streaming all my gameplay and you can literally see me trying 100 things and the build evolving. I’ve always given credit to Mekuna and accrueid when I’ve gotten ideas from them and linked their RU-vid’s. Even though it’s the same thing, I had never heard of Chevy. Never seen his stream. Right around the time I started experimenting with ancient flame I started realizing my cooldowns were getting super cracked. I didn’t think of perma flame shield because I thought the lack of amulet temper wouldn’t allow it. But tbh I had forgotten that ice blades inherent our attack speed now. All my shits my own evolution. People often end up at similar results when facing infinite scaling content. Don’t ever tell me I copied someone’s shit. If I did. They’re getting credit and their socials are linked. The most recent changes to my build are ideas and optimizations from hysteria as noted in the goddamn build.
