looks fun but blizz doesnt know wtf theyre doing, or doesnt care. no reason sorcs should be so terrible or other classes (druids) for that matter. wish theyd put less efort into expansion cinematics and more effort into revamping this game in this horrible state thats it in rn
Yeah that would be fine. I’m not too sure on the actual setup. Shako is really only taken for the 4 ranks to TP and Ice armor. We might actually not even want it and want a GA int helmet with GA CDR, you can get defensive ranks on a chest. Shako is literally just easy. Shako isn’t doing much on this build, in the same way it doesn’t do a ton on blizzard. It’s just nice and 20% ALL DR. But now that I think of it a might or hectic helmet might just be better
Hi. I'm following your vyr immortal build online with exactly the same gear. I have only 8118 armor. I know that there is an explanation about how to reach armor cap but with that gear, with those affixes it's not possible without changing one of them choosing + armor. Can you explain that please
Uhhhh you need 12/12 gear with an armor roll on pants and 3 skulls in jewelery. You will probably be 100-300 armor shy and that’s fine because the build is mostly immortal. You probably have low armor because your armor roll on your pants is a min roll. It needs to be perfect it’s just unfortunate.
Shard of Verathiel from diablo immortal that is twin sword and use by Leader of angel name Verathiel who fight against army of hell and sacrifice herself for shard seekers to escape diablo soul....and yeahh hope this item good in next update hahhaa lov it
Ball Lightning was fine. I didn't really like it with splintering because it was hard to scale both. you really wanted starless which just gives up 200% crit dmg.
Is there a specific way I need to set up my paragon tree? I'm very new to the game, so that part is still confusing to me. Im used to D3s tree how it was super simple.
Hi, thank you for your content! How do you think the new boots compare to Esu's? CDR + Non Phys and the fire dmg on cd vs crit chance of Esus? And how does Andariels compare to shako (or is the LHC too low?) For lilith you would have probably got her staggered in P1 with Raiment - still like that armor for bosses.
Hated the boots. Sorry 75 non phys and 10% CDR and some piss poor fire damage ain’t matching 30% crit chance boots. You don’t want andariels on this build because sorcerers only additive the works well with andariels is vulnerable damage and andariels is a DOT
mana wouldn't be an issue if you picked up crackling. i think you can make this build with a variety of shock skills, i just chose spark because it attacks very fast. you can do BL or CL and do ice blade/ Lightning spear enchant. you have options. I do not know what will be best
I have a questions, If I didnt miss the part sorry, How did you get this high critical damage? Are these tempering manuals new for sorc? I didnt know you could put chd to amulet, weapons and gloves.
Given you have perma UC, I would drop points from Static Discharge and all BL points as you get enogh crackling from CL. Also only basic Ice Armor is needed. Those points I would allocate into maxing Teleport, base Ice Armor and remaining into Potent Warding. Also in PTR I tempered all rings and amulet for UC cooldown reduction for QoL between packs. This allows to put Might on pants, as Orange is not needed. I also went with Glinting Arc Lash, given I have enough crit chance. Overall this is excellent build with very fast paced gameplay. I like it. Hope the aspect won't be nerfed as this build is a nice step up from FO build.
This is just a rough draft. And it’s also a remnant of when I was running verathial and remade the planner in about 10 mins. Thanks for the advice tho!! I’ll remember it when I make the final S5 version in a month
@@Lurkin17 I am also not sure about Shredding Blades, given CSD stacking instead of Vulnerable damage. Currently I am running Abundant Energy to power UC machine even more with Overflowing Energy, which allows more manual spear casts. Main problem I see is loosing Vyrs unconditional damage reduction along with Mana Shield unconditional damage reduction, you can really feel it. I ended up dead on solo hordes tier 7 council boss, while outputting pretty low damage. Tier 101 is a breeze tho, using boss reset trick.
Thank you for all your testing man - best sorc content creator! Please could you add Hydra to your testing list - I'm really hoping it's viable in Season 5.
nice build. cooked something similar a couple days prior. But u dont need spark crit. LS has inherent 15% crit increase. But ur right that only works for LS, my bad spark crit is a go then :P Wudi showcased it a bit, but urs is way more optimzed, didnt had the time to do it with mine. Problem on Bosses is the bugs mostly, despawns some LS or they fly away to far. My build was w/o uc wanted to try how far u could push LS cdr on its own, but seems uc is still better. Kinda sad that we cant build w/o it
Funny thing. LS has 15% crit. But splintering doesn’t. And vyrs doesnt. And when vyrs is fixed I will be using it. Yeah bosses just kinda sucked. Idk what they wanted with this. A support skill? We are running this as glacial. If that’s the case the chain 5 needs a boss damage portion
@Lurkin17 I tried it again with some inspiration from your build and it worked ok. I think the most important part was perma uptime of unstable currents. My gear wasn't very good but you could definitely see the potential of the build. Season 5 safe 😆
Nice build 👏 It gives us a little hope for s5 🙃 Did you try arc lash instead sparks? Looks like arc lash cast twice temper can fit this build well to get more unstable currents procs. Why using sparks is better?
For taking the sub-node for additional crackling energy that interplays with the Lightning Spear Enchantment [Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.] that is how he was getting up to 29+ LS on screen
spark just casts really fast and can cast at range on enemies to proc spears, where arc lash felt clunkier. you could do arc lash or spark it doesn't matter. you can run firebolt or LS enchant. i go over the pros and cons to both in the video. they both have their merits and it is preference whether you run firebolt or LS enchant in combination with ice blades
Every lightning sorc runs unstable currents and its just becomes a jumbled mess of lots of skills going off. I dont think any of these lightning builds are viable without it. All lightning builds are unstable current builds. Just because the skill focus changes doesnt mean the build is different, its still an unstable currents builds.
It's because the other Ultimates aren't really viable tho. In the end there just aren't as many options for secondary skills with sorc. For me Unstable Currents is also just to messy, would love a more "cleaner" build for sorc, which just does damage.
there is a pure LS variant, i was building/creating it, its just harder to get there and ultimately more squishier since it uses hectic. and u dont want other defensives beside teleport, or they interfere too much with it.
It’ll be pretty legit. It’s definitely sorcerers strongest mobbing build we have ever seen. The 5 chains are insane. I’d rather have it chain twice and chain twice on bosses
I don't know what's wrong with me but i always gravitate towards weaker classes/builds every season. I think i'll go either Sorc, which is always so much fun regardless of the dmg output, or Pulverizer Druid, probably both. Great video as always Lurk!!!
Yeah I like this build a lot it’s really fun. It’s in a slightly weird spot tho because of trying to scale both the burning damage AND the Tyraels damage. In the PTR I ended up going vuln damage to try and scale both
I need to stop watching youtubers who said t81-100 can be done with any shitty gears. I am just barely doing T50 pit and Dungeon 90. Basically you need GEARS and the right gears which you need time to farm. Don't tell me with any shitty gears.
Thank you for your informative build information. It would be helpful for some of us (like me) that the rank of skills in your mobalytics guide show the order of stats as they are on the actual item rather than by what you consider to be a priority because it's easier to find items when gambling if I can looks for an amulet with attack speed, then cooldown reduction and THEN ranks to conjuration mastery just as they appear on the item.
I am confused, can you restate this. I usually just slap the 3 stats I think will be best, then MW and GA whatever I think are most important. Besides on immortal builds which are going away next season, the masterworks are flexible
