Quick story. I played the Dragon Link this AM at Hard Rock Hollywood... Won a $2K jackpot and got off and 2 mins later the guy next to me won the $1.6 Million.. Whoa.

Started out strong at a +6 run (TC1) good for standard bet. Shot to 12 at 3:10 (TC2). Happened to be on the wrong side of the cards on these counts. 10 run TC2 at 5-8 min which was a good run. Hovering is a good sign, as you’re at +10 run, you’re likely through 3 decks so a TC3, this is where my standard bet would double usually. At 8:45 you did stack your bet, won that hand un surprisingly and went down to a +5. Looks like 2 decks left here so TC 2ish. Good for standard bet and maybe dabbling into 1.5x standard bet if you’re feeling it (Personally I wouldn’t). That $1,400 bet at 10:00 was statistically in your favor but quite risky, glad it worked out for you! Back down to a +2 I’d have stayed at my standard bet, but you gambled hard here and lost that blackjack against dealer, down to a True 0 count (This is where “Gambling” is and not “Statistical winning”). Did good here staying at your $200 bet. Another lucky win at 12:55 at a -1 count. Again this territory is about a 3% favor to the casino. All in all a positive count most of the game, not surprising you 2.5x your money. Overall it was a winning shoe in your favor

There’s a good chance you wouldn’t have won that Jackpot if you stayed and a good chance that guy wouldn’t have if he sat down or pressed the button a few seconds later. I know it’s rough man, I was at a machine playing it, got up, lady sat down and won the 53k jackpot I had been trying to win for weeks. I was sick over it! You’ll get one someday, keep trying!

strange how you don't go off basic strategy at these high stakes.

You need to atleast learn a basic high low count. Will take you a week at best to roll with it, if you spend a couple hours a day with a handful of decks running cards. It’ll help you on when to up your bet based on true count and tell you when to take insurance and make some silly sounding bets

with this type of balance you should really familiarize yourself with card counting its not very difficult and very exciting when you place a large bet and you know you have a small edge over the house.
