Hello! The castle is a building site at the moment! It's not worth visiting at the moment! An entrance fee of 20 Pounds and the missing permission of taking photos in the inside are two more reasons not to visit this place! ;-) Greetings Renate and Olaf #Trackbreaker

Sorry to hear that Trackbreaker, the best ones to visit in Scotland are EDINBURGH CASTLE, its amazing and FALKLAND PALACE home of Mary Queen if Scots, STIRLING CASTLE is good as is CUlZEAN CASTLE IN Ayrshire. Thanks for your comment,happy travelling, cheers g.
