I feel this is gonna be a hit with younger tourists. Hawaii is máde for open vehicles like this. However.. for the more sunny days, some sort of shading at the top window would be nice. A small fabric 'curtain' like a rollup curtain, would work. And afa the looks. The 'SMART' -like way the panels are customizable with vinyl stickers could makle it more 'your own' I really like that idea (Though.. WHY would I replace the gorgeous flower graphics..I LOVE those.. :P ) All it needs now is a surfboard rack at the top... :P

The boards are rented at the beaches after you arrive there in your rented Arcimoto. That is, if you are rich enough to not just drive it an hour and you pay for the full day's rental. There are already owners who have adapted surf board and golf club racks.

Arcimoto is really more of a video production company than any other. It's become very good at creating illusions and fantasia. As Nokia with roots in lumber, rubber and tyre industries, found its real niche in mobile phones, I believe Arcimoto's real talent lies in video production. In fact it's made more videos since inception than FUV's. Well done Mark!

What dishonest nonsense. I did not need to see kids hooting in the FUV to buy one and I bought mine without a test drive. I put down my deposit almost 3 years ago when there were few videos. The company has finished hundreds more FUVs than videos and that will grow exponentially with the new factory until there are over one thousand FUVs sold for every video.

For each fact an infinite number of lies are possible to distract from the fact by various nefarious or just plain ignorant/hateful troll purposes. He lied about the ratio of videos to vehicles produced. Nothing anybody can post here will change his guilt for that lie I called him out for. Nobody can prove I did not buy my Arcimoto without a test drive. And I do have the receipt for my $100 deposit three years ago. Nobody can prove there is one single second of "illusions and fantasia" in this video. There is no digital effects altering the scenes or the words of people.

@@IchimokuCloud Arcimoto with 15 executives and 300+ employees double shift, made 102 FUV's in Q2! Sold a handful, some went to rental, some kept for demos and lending to influencers etc, still over 50% remained unsold inverntory sitthng in the factory. Company lacks direction and leadership, spreading itself thin and throws darts aimlessly, needs to make FUV's and sell in high volumes to generate revenue. Needs to stop all non core and loss making sideshows. The rental side can be a gold mine, but company spends a lot of money opening in locations far and wide before the rental model is worked out. I would start with one or two in popular locarions, well stocked, priced to make profits and to promote direct sales (for example refund of rental fees if purchased). Once this model perfected and profitable, expand the rental side slowly with a mix of franchise and company owned business model (same as McDonald's) depending capital availability and cost. Arcimoto needs to immediately reduce workforce substantially as it's currently bleeding c. $2.5M monthly in labour costs. 75% of executives are working more as fitters, handymen and goffers - not as directors and senior management.

The company has one 'Cameo' custom build with a rear facing seat for a cameraman who does more than one job. A man has gotta know his limitations. As an owner of the FUV I talk about what I am qualfied to discuss. Your specialty is cat videos. Or am I mistaken and you have a business degree?

I'm sick of seeing hundreds of back seat self proclaimed business experts attacking a great US company and product. The proof is in the product. My FUV is fantastic, very affordable and extremely fun to drive. There are 5000 deposits for orders and demands for access from all 50 states and all over the world. Bluto always gets his ass kicked in the end. A select few of you losers get bookmarked for my file to reply to two years from today. "I'll be back" and you'll be sunk.

The people that continue to praise this model have not read the 10Q..... the rental part of the business lost over $500,000 for the quarter vs last year when it was slightly profitable! Go to page 14 of 10Q and look at segment reporting! And if it worked so well why is there only a whopping 41 vehicle backlog?!?!?!?! People praising it here are stakeholders who are in denial there is litereally almost no demand for the product!

No it is not. The average price of a new car in 2022 is $46,000. Amd most cars sold today need gas and oil changes and they need the more expensive insurance. Mine is very economical and I am just scraping by on my SS pension. It is great to no longer be hostage to a $5000 motor and a $4000 transmission that can blow up. Learn flexible current moment thinking.
