Arcimoto (NASDAQ: FUV) develops and manufactures ultra-efficient and affordable electric vehicles to help the world shift to a sustainable transportation system.
Now available to preorder customers in California, Oregon, Washington, and Florida, the Arcimoto FUV® is purpose-built for everyday driving, transforming ordinary trips into pure-electric joyrides.
Available for preorder, the Deliverator® and Rapid Responder™ provide last-mile delivery and emergency response functionality, respectively, at a fraction of the cost and environmental impact of traditional gas-powered vehicles.
Two additional concept prototypes built on the versatile Arcimoto platform are currently in development: the Cameo™, aimed at the film and influencer industry; and the Roadster, designed to be the ultimate on-road fun machine.
Every Arcimoto vehicle is built at the Arcimoto Manufacturing Plant in Eugene, Oregon. For more information, please visit Arcimoto.com.
How is it in the rain? The passenger compartment has no doors or sides, and all I can think of is that wet, droplet-filled air blasting in and around you.
If you lost your preorder money too, like I did, let me know if you were able to recover and what actions you took. Their business is shut down and no all emails are bouncing. Looks like those who paid the fully-refundable $100 for this MLM lost their money.
Is it true that the warehouse is closed and electric is turned off plus I heard that the phone number on website is not in service? People need to know the truth now! What is going on?
I think the Arcimoto is a great idea but I hope they can figure out to get the price down a bit. I’ve looked at many fun looking EVs and I always keep going back to the Arcimoto. The price always gets me still.
wow, i'm surprised this channel still exists. OEM website, facebook, and service center building no longer exists.. and your stock price is falling fast
They are re-opening their old mid-sized factory and auctioning off excess expensive machinery to achieve downsizing. I saw a photo of them in there yesterday, with the roller door open. Facebook presence never went away, maybe you were blocked. Gossiping like old ladies at tea is pathetic - everyone knows a company is over when bankruptcy is officially declared. Not saying it can't happen, I'm saying it has NOT happened.
I travel all over Europe continue and never and no where see a Arcimoto. But many Carver and some AKO. So Arcimoto must rethinking about no full enclosure/removable doors. Also rethinking dear Arcimoto about space for three passengers and of course soace for baggage
You will only see the FUV in the US. There was no attempt to start international sales. NO to three passengers, that would be an entirely different vehicle that is no longer a light EV or an autocycle. I bought mine because I get the motorcycle rate on insurance. $134/yr is a huge annual savings for insurance, I can't really afford a car.
Ignore the jackass troll who lied to you. Please flag him. Arcimoto is reorganizing after a substantial down-sizing. It is not over until bankruptcy and that is not happening now.
@@badamsfx Arcimoto is downsizing back to its first factory. It just resumed warranty repairs and limited production this week. They are selling off some of the large scale manufacturing tools that were very expensive. The large factory is being leased or sold to reduce debts. Website will be back soon.
Pedal assist can not be a 'version' of a 1300 pound 84 mph autocycle. Arcimoto hoped to make a new 140 pound e-trike design called the CyberTrike but they had to cancel. You can still see videos about it here.
Are there any DOOR enthusiasts working for Faction who might influence common sense? You know, those trivial panels that block rain, wind, cold, easy theft & carjacking?
No. Spoken like a true car addict who never enjoyed a motorcycle. Panels are in fact trivial. There is no other motorcycle in existence with more weather protection than the FUV's roof and windshield offers, it is more than enough and the envy of one billion motorcycle and scooter drivers who have no roof or roll cage. I have heated seats, heated hand grips, defroster and wiper with washer too.
Arcimoto should concentrate on compact SUV 4 wheelers like Tata Punch, Renault, Nissan. In this segment have a huge potential in the global market. Three wheeler should be sporty attitude.
No. What you suggest would completely waste 12 years of R&D protypes which gave us the unique original FUV concept. 4 wheels is a backslide to excessively large and overpowered unsustainable vehicles. SUV culture is a disaster for the biome. We need right sized vehicles that can be driven forever without lasting impacts. I bought my last gallon of gas 9 years ago. My Arcimoto is still bigger and more powerful than I need for all my local transportation but it is an infinitely sustainable design. 4 wheeled 4 seat vehicles are usually driven with empty seats and an empty trunk. Even a compact SUV would waste 3 times as much power as I need because it weighs 3 to 4 times as much as the Arcimoto. Harder to charge, far more expensive to insure. Harder to park and garage.
As an Oregonian myself, my biggest concern in the rain for my daily commute is that there's usually a thick mist of muddy water being kicked up by large vehicles. The water being thrown up by other vehicles is often significantly denser than the rain itself. There are times when it feels like a tidal wave slamming against my side windows from oncoming traffic. The FUV seems like the ideal vehicle to me if it weren't for the impracticality in Oregon road conditions.
Two toxic trolls lied to you. Please flag them for misinformation like I did. Arcimoto had to downsize and there will be no budget or staff for videos but other YT channels can still make videos when there is news or if there is no news they will make up something dishonest. No company can be 'dead' before it has officially declared bankruptcy. Not happening at this time.
Well no shit, it's a motorcycle! The safest most comfortable autocycle ever made. Unrealistic demands to be carted around like royalty in overpowered heavy steel caged climate controlled lounge couches is what got us in this mess in the first place! I don't get wet in mine and I have heated seats and defroster and other comforts usually limited to cars, but in a 1300 pound vehicle that does not steal more than my fair share of resources from future generations. Huge bonus - I give only $134/yr for insurance!
Arcimoto - Congratulations! Nice project, if you put a solar panel on part of the roof of the tricycle to recharge the battery it would work perfectly.
I waited for 2 years to get my extremely affordable Arcimoto. After 2 years and two months I have already saved $7000 compared to the price of owning and operating any 4 wheeled car. My FUV will pay for itself in just 8 years, a plus you can not say about any other EV. In 2024 the average price of a new EV is $60,000 so the FUV is just one third as much and it gets the motorcycle rate for insurance. Mine costs me just $134/yr to insure! I put a deposit down on a Nimbus rental to try it out. It is far smaller and not nearly as fast but like the Arcimoto, it is still safer than any motorcycle ever sold. The Nimbus weighs half as much as the 1300 pound Arcimoto and the rear 'seat' is tiny while the Arcimoto has a nice rear bucket seat with harness. The base model Nimbus tops out at 50 mph while my Arcimoto does 84 mph. An intelligent comparison can not directly compare a light EV to the cost of any 4 wheeled car. There is no gas to buy, no oil changes, no airbag or converter to steal, no transmission or engine to blow up. And cars are boring and unadventurous while autocycles are fun.
There is an owner in the Rockies who drives year around. Some extreme temperatures and salt. He manages. My Arcimoto has good baked on paint everywhere and it is simple to clean, just because it is a smaller vehicle.
And ACCESSIBLE! My 36-year-old neighbor was previously limited in her access to basic resources and community engagement because of her wheelchair, was dependent upon the help of others because of the high cost of owning and specially equipping a typical vehicle, plus insurance, repairs, fuel, registration, etc. Her Arcimoto put her back behind the wheel and back into LIFE, as the FUV is easy for her to access alone, is already equipped with hand controls, and has plenty of space for her chair, groceries, etc. Even better, the cost to buy one is half the price of most cars (particularly EV ones). It's inexpensive to insure, and her days of paying $5+ per gallon are gone. BTW: No one asked me/us to write this. I work for a California-based nonprofit community development organization, ROAR, and we believe the FUV, in its affordability and accessibility features, is an amazing solution for older adults, the disabled, and for low-income families. This is why our nonprofit has dedicated $2 million dollars to the acquisition of an FUV fleet, and has initiated FUV ride-sharing pilot programs in three rural communities. If we could take it nationwide, we would. Bravo, to the team at Arcimoto, for creating something so perfect in so many ways. When we talk about the FUV at ROAR, we say: "IT'S THE MOST FUN YOU'LL EVER HAVE DOING THE RIGHT THING." Amanda Dove Executive Director ROARCA.ORG
Arcimoto have a lot of 2ork to do, i quess the most people need a three seater with storage for shopping!!!👍🚫👍 and a very important theme that no one write about guys where are your full enclosure doors????😮😂😂 This is full unusual for the hard raining days and winter, so i stay to my car and motorcycle....ehhh yes last but not least.... No resellers in Europe, for Garantie and also the custom's!!!!🧱🧱🧱
You are confusing a car with an autocycle. There can not be a legal 3 seat version in the US. There is a trunk for shopping. Climate control is NOT a sustainable feature for the future of personal vehicle designs and if you have doors you will demand climate control. I stay totally dry in rain because the air pressure moves rain to the sides and it won't blow in except when stopped. Your silly abuse of kid's cartoon emojis reveals your childish mind.
a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage is 20k has a heater, air conditioning, windshield wipers, ABS brakes, can go 331m in the city on a 9.2gal tank ( 6.4¢ a mile at my Costco gas price) I want this why?
It looks great but it has the smell of death about it. He doesn't look like he believes what he was saying. Come on Elon, jump in and show them how it's done. After all, you'd get it for change.
They need Elon as they now have been slapped by a $550K Lawsuit by Roush. Then there's that other lingering one for $1M. Elon can pay them off and get this project going.
Arcimoto just got a contract to build a French designed electric van in their Eugene facility. Musk is an idiot who has singlehandedly created a global battery mineral shortage by making expensive, excessively heavy status symbol vehicles. Each Tesla contains enough materials to make three or four Arcimoto autocycles, demonstrating what right sizing means. The Chevy Hummer EV contains enough materials to make eight Arcimotos. Which one will help us reach zero carbon goals?
Why are the mirrors not adjusted for the camera to see, saw no second image on the computer for backwards vision. How did they authorize U turn with no backwards vision, seems reckless.
