*SPOILER SHIELD* The amount of work Rotom-Fan's been putting this season is BEYOND INSANE. IMO, it's a front-runner for the MVP of the regular season. That thing's been PHENOMENAL. It's been carrying you every single game, it's amazing. Keep it up, Uzi!!

Whenever the octopath music kicks in I get so hyped. Uzi honestly this gen 9 arc for you has been the closest to Real Marill content anyone has been for me. Not to discredit your own brand, Miguel made me love draft league, and I think your videos have had me the most hyped I've been in a long time. The music, the story, the commentating. So very happy for this seasons run

Can't tell you just how much a comment like this means to me. Miguel was the guy that inspired me to start this journey, all the way back in 2015. Everything he put out in both draft league and all things Pokemon had me on the edge of my seat. It is truly very humbling to see my work even be compared to someone like him. Because without his works, I highly doubt my journey as a content creator would have finally begun. I thank you so much for the love and the kind words! This has been nothing but a phenomenal journey and we're just getting started! I'll do my best to keep delivering great content that you can enjoy and be proud of. Here's to many more memories!

@@TheUziGunner Such an influential guy within the community, I fell off a bit from draft in gen 7/8. Gen 9 has really come back to its best, and the standard has shot up too. You've had an incredible gen 9 and while I'm enjoying spl content on the whole, from everyone, your content has carried that nostalgic feel for me the most. Hope you can keep this momentum firing 💪

I haven’t been able to watch the game because I’ve been at the hospital for my aunt. With everything that’s happened, this game brought me so much joy especially after the rotom survived the aura sphere. To playoffs we go!

Almost! Ben and I spoke and we agreed there that I would then hard swap to Fan, not wishing to be vulnerable to setup. If it was SD, then the game would have been lost. However, I still survived +1 Sphere from that range. If anything, I'd have been forced to air Slash into shadow ball for the W. But yeah, I definitely goofed by foul playing there haha. Glad you enjoyed my dude! Thank you very much ❤️

Did the crit at the end matter? I was surprised to find out it did! Ben’s Val had HP investment and unlike mixed attack Vals, it doesn’t run - spdef nature. I ran the calcs: Without the crit, 0 spatk volt switch would’ve done ~36.9-44.2 to 120 hp Valiant. Modest scarf shadow ball from dragapult does 56.7-67%. Val could’ve been at 63-55.8%, which is means that while the roll is still on Uzi’s favor, there was around a 33% chance Zoro could’ve lived if there was no crit. Tl;dr Uzi had 2:1 odds of winning without the crit. Wp to both sides!

yeah but wouldn't uzi u-turn with pult in that case and sack rotom? ik u-turn is quad resisted so its probably still a roll but i imagine that would make it weigh more heavily in uzi's favor edit: u-turn does 4.3-5.3%. too lazy to do the specific math lol but thats probably like a >95% win chance for uzi since play more had to pretty much get three absolute min rolls back to back and dodge three crits

Forgive me if this is explained later in the video, but wouldn’t the A-Persian be “optimized” as timid instead of jolly? Running 0 Atk IVs for the sake of confusion or foul play damage makes sense, so if Timid you lower that Atk even more, correct? It’s a really niche and irrelevant thing but I was curious

I was dealing with some bad news that was broken to me hours before the game, so I was unable to find the focus that I usually have during my games. Hence me getting careless around thge Iron Jugulis and making assumptions, based on the damage that was dealt to Deoxys-D. Otherwise, things would have gotten more smoothly. I'mma step it up for the future don't you worry.
