Alolan Sandslash Is Better Than People Think 

Yes but no lol there's strategy involved both with the pokemon and the team chosen with it, it's just the highlight pokemon of the video. Alolan Sandslash is on a snow team or snow setting team and not on a random team for a reason. Choosing a random pokemon would be choosing a Persian and seeing what set that pokemon has that is workable in a battle. Notice how certain pokemon are not chosen for these vids. it's because they aren't competitive AT ALL vs some that are use way less or have decent sets that can be used but not used competitively. Something like the Smeargle vid for example, population bomb wide lens shell smash Smeargle is viable to have fun with, it's just not a consistent competitive pokemon.

Each pokemon has a unique terra type. Wild pokemon will only have a terra type that matches one of their normal typings, but through raids and terra shards you can get pokemon with unique terra types.

you can change your pokemon’s tera type outside of battle, but in battle you can only choose the tera type it has
