What you find in that house is what john collected my brother owns and runs a paranormal investigation group he has done the rams in several times with a live feed to his group and people who follow his work by going along on nights he sets up. He has done the rams in with just his wife heard a few things and a lot of cat call activity. John bless his soul resided in the living room as there was some very bad activity. His daughter had activity aswel bless her for she took om the house after the passing of john. The rams inn is a threatened building and relies on a lot of support from its visitors johns wish was to have restored to be a inn but the amount of money needed was way too much. This is part of our history and needs protecting at all costs not to be turned into flats or be knocked down.

This randomly popped up in my feed but I do watch Paranormal so that's probably why. I found this interesting as I used to do investigations myself. I understand what a shock it is when something actually happens. Weeks later I'd still be thinking of the glass moving or that I was touched. It's freaky. My nephew used to turn pale with nerves as it was so strange. Will you do more 👻 ? I've subbed.
@@TonyJTomlinson I've just finished watching till the end on my TV where you say you'll do more investigations 👍Honestly I totally get it. Once when I was in an old manor house I sat in the dark at a good distance from the few others in the room. I absolutely, uncharacteristically said I wonder if something will touch me. Almost instantly I felt a hand (a whole hand) press on my waterproof coat and them press down and grip my arm. My goodness I jumped feet. It was so real and firm. No one was anywhere near me to touch me in fact I had to jump up and run to them. I've never ever forgotten it. Still gives me shivers years later.
I have been here 3 times DEF Creepy!!! We heard cat cries and Caroline heard on CCTV too.. Shadow was seen by my friend but sadly not caught on camera Estes method we done too Very creepy!! EMF Meter too went crazy OH!! And got Extremely dizzy and had to sit down On entering the barn…. I’m quite a Skeptic.. But will continue to seek the Unexplained!! Going back here soon .. It all depends how much energy you put into it as spirits feed off energy,because they were not sure what to expect it was always going to start off slow, every place I’ve investigated usually don’t get much in first couple of hours or so. It’s not like what you see in programs! I know sombody that investigated at chilingham castle and got nothing!it’s what it is,you can’t force spirits to communicate with you.

Love this video. I always believed it was other people moving the planchette on a board until I tried it myself. I went here a couple months ago with a Paranormal group. We had lots of activity. In the barn I felt like someone was grabbing my ankles then got told it was a common occurrence as lots of bodies are buried under there. I got evps as I always take a recorder. Was told to get out of the withers room. I saw a grey figure in the attic walk across which the medium said there were two highway men up there. Was so good It’s a very active place.
How on earth did the wonderful john humphries live basically a lifetime on his own, in that place...absolute total respect to you john...total respect to you sir...I wouldn't spend a single night on my own there!!!
He slept with his bible as well :/ Apparently John spirit resides at Ancient Ram Inn. I still can only hope that he isn't, it is not a happy place to be roaming around freely in the after life.
This is honestly the most 'real' video diary type recording I've ever watched! You seem genuinely freaked out! Like you, (pre this) I've always been a sceptic but this makes me question everything!!
It's almost changed my belief system, Im still trying to figure out what went on, so much so, we've booked a second visit, next time I can go into it knowing what to expect and hopefully won't be as freaked out where we bolted in the middle of the night!
It’s a amazing place, you did the right thing going alone because when it’s a group there is to much movement,creeking, where people moving about etc, I was in witches room alone and got the sudden smell of perfume as if a woman had walked past me! On the dresser by the door there is a note and it says a oldish lady has been seen walking from the room to the landing on many occasions! So I believe she walked past me but I couldn’t see her but I could smell her perfume! I have asked about prices to do it alone but I’m in Essex so it’s a good 3.5 to 4 hr drive away but I want to go back!

Tony. Enjoyed the video. I am a paranormal investigator although relatively new to it, but The Ram Inn is very much on my bucket list to do. I’d be interested in knowing how you went about booking it. I consider myself a believer and the only time I did a Ouija board session, funny enough was on an investigation with my son at Nuns Cross Farm on Dartmoor. We did have a bit of movement but the most disturbing part was my son feeling like his wrist was being grabbed. With Ouija board sessions there is a thing called the ideomotor effect. This is where our brain bypasses are own decision making process and makes our hand move. It is not a conscious thing, the person doesn’t even know it’s them moving it. Not a certainty that this what happened but it is one explanation. It is a shame that most of the phenomena happened while you weren’t recording. The cynical among us may say that is very convenient🤔 Real shame you didn’t stay the night. I hope you do go back and I look forward to any future paranormal videos. Subbed!

This came up in my feed unexpectedly- as I usually watch paranormal videos. This was a refreshing twist on the paranormal, with you being a sceptic. I love the Ram.. I’ve been there myself with just one other person and I loved every minute. The witches room was interesting for me - the planchette kept moving towards me the entire time.. and I’ve not been able to figure out why it would do that, as both myself and my friend took turns to be the only person with out fingers on it. Very odd! It didn’t spell anything out at all.. just kept coming towards me!
Having done this place 5 times in total darkness and alone in the building i cant say i have found anything, apart from one thing that lasted seconds was a dark shadow the height of a child walk past on the landing where the den is

A great place we loved it 😊 The jackets belonged to John Humphries the owner who passed away several years ago. With the ouija board we always explain the format of the board to spirit and introduce ourselves Ouija boards 💯 work its unbelievable the first few times you do it but so exciting 😮 We visit a lot of places trust me its very real 👻👻👻👻 and great fun
If you go back keep camera on at all times then you can get everything that happens and if you go back you got to sleep there or stay awake but dont go and run away from there just try to stay to see what happens and what you get on camera get a camera for everyone that goes in with you

I’ve been here and I can say it is haunted a very scary place something crabbed my hand when I was sat on a bed in one of the bedrooms and in the witch’s room the chair I was sat on vibrated and the table and the sideboard I had my hand on and in the old barn there was a massive bang that scared the shit out of us I would not go back there.
Hiya Tony, when I was about 10, I used to live in this terraced house (102 Main Street, Hensingham, Whitehaven), my sister, Leanne (aged 7 at the time) went to the bathroom when she came back she was talking to someone, Mam came to see what was going on, Mam said who are you talking too, Leanne said "the old lady and her cat", when Mam came around the corner the ghost disappeared, Leanne described her as having a Winceyette like what Kate Bush used to wear, so she must of been Victorian, she was never seen again, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

Also I saw a ghost once in my life in the house I still live in. I moved here during a very heartbreaking and stressful time. I woke up to see a woman dressed in brown in the doorway of my bedroom. Inexpertly dabbling around with a Ouija board in a place that has a history of bad vibrations and has been used before in several previous rituals (possibly satanic), is asking for trouble. I think you got off light.
I have seen different accounts of people staying in various hotels and inns, and they were also hit , scratched, and they also were marked up. Try some other places to see the activity in them. I would have gone home, too, if I was hit by an unseen force.

I have lived in a haunted house almost all my life when I was growing up, It doesn't really scare me, or freak me out due to that. But only me my cousin and sisters knows something is eerily weird with my mum's house I haven't experienced anything anywhere else apart from my mum's house
So once you remove your fingers from the Blanchett of a witch board, whatever you invited and is now released is out. You can not return to the board again to close it. It must be done from start-to-finish. Hopefully, whatever came out has not been attached to either one of you. Suggestion: Don't ever screw with a witch board again.

You should go back there, what you get on the board doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the building your in. You could have a loved one that has passed that follows you everywhere so it may of been jacks grandad,Nan, great grandad etc. I went there 2 weeks ago in a group and loved it! Got a sudden smell of perfume in witches room as if sombody had walked past me! I’m hopeing to go back but with only 4 of us (big group there is to much movement so to many creeks. But was still a great night!
We’ve already booked our return for the winter, will go back into it with a different thought process after the first one so it’ll he interesting to see what happens

Personally I would never use a ouija board, far too dangerous as you don't know what you're getting into. If you have to, make sure a spiritualist or meduim is with yourself or group.
@@clairecarr2244 a timer on the cat balls? 😂 a lot of paranormal investigators use cat balls because they are motion sensored. Are you sure you don’t have spirits in your place making them flash?
There are certainly items placed there to “spook it up” such as a skeleton in the corner, an arrangement of balloons in the barn to look like a wrapped body to name just two.
