You would be welcome in egypt at any time, but if you want my advice as an Egyptian is that you should wait for August, by then the egyptian grand museum would be opened with 100,000 artifacts, also first stage of new alamain city and the new capital with the tallest building in africa will be finished. I know that the new cities might not be interesting to you. But if you really want to know how we built the pyramids then you should see how mega cities were built where nothing but sand existed in their place 5 years ago. It's history in the making. To see that It weren't aliens. It was hard work, strong will and determination.

I was told that Egyptians store their stuff on rooftops - you’ll see all kinds of stuff up there. I noticed it everywhere from Luxor to Cairo to Alexandria when we drove through this past February.

@@justanotherguy7925 yeah it's basically because we don't have much rain in Egypt so no need for slope in the roof so they use the extra space to grow poultry and store stuff

@@mostafamahmoud4852 Aside from the amazing history that I had dreamed about seeing since I was little, the part of my trip that I really enjoyed was experiencing the people of Egypt, my friend and his extended family, getting to see and hang out where my friend grew up before coming to the US, the food - so much more than you would get on any tour. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met were in Egypt. It’s an amazing country with amazing people, I’d love to visit again someday.

can you recommend a safe way to travel as a female in egypt?

@@Catwoman1464 I went with Travel agency to Egypt and this trip was exursion.We had police and security with us,that like notmal when you are visiting. If you want to travel alone you should find someone local to guide you if you are going to Cairo. For Hurgada its another story its a lot more safer.

Oh hopefully you'll have a great time mate! Also an advice from me, make sure not to get with any taxis because even us locals don't. Just use Uber tho! And also it would be better if you have a tour guide in general so he teaches you more about the culture and recommend you good places & stuff! And yeah that's it xx

@@raniaradwan8165 I won't do, all my transport is already organised, I have a private guide for Giza. Thank you for the advice. I'm mostly diving, staying in Hurgarda. Bit of a nightmare with the UK flights being cancelled but I've booked different flights.

@@raniaradwan8165 Hi Rania, had a great time visiting Egypt, the diving was out of this world. Had a guided tour of the museum, unfortunately I knew everything hewas telling me as I have a great interest in Egyptology. Only had two hours in the museum, I could of stayed in there all day. My next trip I will stay for two night in Cairo and hopefully the new museum will be open by then.

Don't wait for COVID to calm down. It's not gonna calm down anytime soon. Go while you can. Live your life! This may be your one chance to experience this wonder without hoards of tourists. But there are far more dangerous things to worry about in Egypt than COVID. But if you aren't concerned about terrorism or protests than do it! Just do it!

@@hazemmix7308 Because I've heard the weather is too warm over there and Egypt tour is quite expensive. But the sights are truly magnificent.
