Thank you. The chorus has a lot of vocal layers. Sometimes 3 takes of the lead vocals (center left and right) 4 harmony takes etc. I love vocal layers.

So....funny story. I've been listening to this song for ages and loved it, but had actually never heard the original - I liked the style of this too much. Finally heard the original today (it's amazing, I've been missing out)....but realised that what I'd always heard and sung along to as "Every awful bang, every broken dream" was actually 'thing', which....yeah. slightly changes the tone.

I dunno if you had a chance to check the description of this video but I put out a full band cover of drown a couple weeks ago with another channel. Link is there. I’m also doing a collab with Christina Rotondo on the new “butterflies” song in a couple weeks. :). But synthwave bmth is definitely happening once I figure out which song!
