Hi! Love all the outfits. How has your curated London coat held up with the rain and travels?? I’ve been eyeing one for a while now!

It is my absolute favorite coat ever, and by default my most worn one since I bought it years ago! It's such a classic and timeless piece. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. Is a thin, lightweight coat, perfect to travel on, and to pack, but still keeps you warm because of the material composition. Honestly, I try to avoid the rain when I wear it at home in the States, because it isn’t a raincoat, but if you have an umbrella, and is light rain, I think you should be good. I got some splash from the rain while in London, and I haven’t yet seen any stain or had to send it out to The dry cleaner. Be careful with the sizing before ordering, different styles of coats fit differently. For this particular one, I sized down 2 sizes, other people sized up with a different style. Central London around Christmas time, is heaving! If you didn't like crowds, you should have gone to the other towns, villages outside of zone 1 aka Central London. (Brentford isn't particularly cute and the transport is awful there.) You would have had so many lovely coffee shops and boutique/vintage clothes stores to visit and seen amazing architecture, houses and parks. Did you enjoy your trip, didn't seem that you saw much?

I agree, being in London during Christmas time was my favorite part! The Christmas lights and Markets were delightful. I lost some of the footage of that when my Vlogging camera broke. I planned to only be in London for that part and then go to Ireland right after Christmas. I was telling one of the Uber drivers in London that I loved London for its history, museum, etc, but for a short period of time. I want to go back to the countryside of England and visit the little villages, like you mentioned, I just couldn't do it this time. I did very much enjoyed my time in London. This trip was mainly to rest. I got sick the first few days I wa sin London, and I was extremely tired from the few weeks I had prior to my trip. I loved England as much as I though I would and will absolutelly go back. I even considered moving there. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to write such a thoughtful message.

@@LifeWithElyse No, I meant in London. Brentford is a small town in London. London is made up of 180+towns and villages. You have a new subscriber!
