Wow! You have a lot of courage to fly Malaysian. I am impwesssed. That watch looks like schmatte. This plane is sexy. LOL. Nice airport and video. I got an amenity kit on Etihad and Qatar on 5 / 6 hour flights. But I think they are BS. Nothing useful. Except the tooth paste. Did you see the shop where the poor guy was attacked by the lady who came from behind? Morbid.Depressing.

Nice video, as always Dan! I love that thumbnail! lol. The seat looks much much better then First Class cabin on their A350. Malaysia Airlines always have special place in my heart, so far my experience with MH always good. I've tried their A380 too! On an Upperdeck Economy Class. The crew even give me aircraft tour, including this First Class cabin. Last week I also managed to try their Business class on A330-200 too, the ex Air Berlin one. Cheers mate! Safe flight always!

Actually MH really excellent in hospitality, let's don't talk about the Josh Cahill's review which was really unfortunate (since the unworking IFE is really seldomly happens, but I couldn't deny that the food and service is really unsatisfying). MH does have a lot of amiable and good crews actually. I flown MH 6 times and my friends (all aviators) flown MH almost all are thumbs up. They just care about your needs, taking photos with them..., fulfill your needs with friendly smile.., service provided are so professional. So sad that maybe Cahill just unfortunately was served by those crew which was pulling down MH's reputation.

WH aviation MH is still good but definitely not where it used to be. Saying that the Josh Cahill video is definitely a rare experience and MH hospitality is more often than not as seen in this video

I have flown Malaysia in business a number of times, never had the chance to fly first with them as they don't have first to my departure port, though l have flown first with Singapore and Thai. I think you missed the most important part, the Malaysian Air crews are absolutely great! As a veggie you also missed out on the fantastic satay's and they also do the best eye fillet in the sky.

Seeing you fly in and out of Incheon Airport makes me miss it even more. I used to live fairly close to the airport and would often go and hang out there with some friends watching planes take off from the observation area.

Malaysia Airlines is one of the best airlines according to me. I remember that when i was travelling to kuala lumpur, my friends did not want to take an A350-900 but were ok taking a crappy budget airline 737. I still do not know why people hate Malaysia Airlines so much and feel they are on a death ride when on one of their planes

Great video, Malaysia Airlines is my favorite, I love their service, the crew are so friendly and the food is always great. I was lucky enough to fly on their A380 from KL to HK during Easter, the flight was supposed to be operated by an A330, but it got upgraded, I've already booked a flight with them in December during the Christmas holidays, I can't wait!! Anyway, lovely review!!😁😁😁😁

Great review, Dan. I liked the first class compartment, though the red velvety heavily upholstered look made it feel like a high class funeral parlor (for more details see Six Feet Under!). The food and service looks amazing and I look forward to flying Malaysian Airlines.

Great video! Flew them recently in biz to LHR and loved it! This first class product is better than that on their A350, which seemed like a slightly glorified and more exclusive business class with just one row. The crew were amazing. And so was the food. Shame about not getting the amenity kit on your flight, which would have been very nice for sure! Keep up with your great vids, Dan 😄

Getting emotional and having those deep feelings of gratitude for the service and the experience provided on the flight is very familiar to me, I experience the same kind of profound humility when I have those rare encounters. It's overwhelming, but in a good way that I don't try to avoid at all. I like not being able to handle how much I love something. If you don't mind my asking, are you a highly-sensitive person or something similar? That moment was so great to see, I'm glad you included it in your video.

Great vid Dan! Really emphasises though how important service is, and that you can still walk away impressed even if the equipment wasn't up to much! I feel sorry for the crew though if they have complaints in a full cabin when there is so little they can do but apologise for the flaws. I wish I spent more time over in that part of the world to have the opportunity to experience some amazingly cheap business class!

A nice flight and video Uncle Dan. You will not believe this - but I actually heard a guy comment on a similar flight and seat arrangement … "Its so annoying that the TV screen is so far away"... and then comment that maybe there could be more leg room for his over six feet height. ???? In BA and others there is an arm arrangement where the screen can pivot and swing out, maybe that's what he meant.

Another great presentation Dan ✅. The red seats are a bit much for my taste. 😕. Food looked very tasty. All this said, after viewing what Josh said and the horrible way he was treated, it gives me great pause to fly Malaysian. On a side note ... I know this is not the sort of thing you'd normally cover as you are a flight experience review focused channel but I thought it was an interesting question to ask. Catering on planes, do they bring on the food based on the passenger manifest? When they ask beef or chicken in economy class, each time I've flown with Lufthansa, American Airlines etc in Economy. I've never seen them run out of an option. So, surely they don't bring on multiple quantities of all the options to cover all bases? With only you in first class on this flight, would they only cater for you and the flight crew?

In all cabins they do cater based on the number of passengers, so there weren't eight first class meal seats onboard. In economy they sometimes do run out, but they generally load just enough for everyone. In first class, they load one of each meal option for each passenger (crazy, I know!) and let the crew/captains eat the remaining food :)

Logically I thought that would be the case. I must have just been lucky flying economy and them having what I wanted. Looking at flying Aer Lingus business class Manchester/Dublin/JFK on the strength of your review. You have the only decent and professional review of that service on RU-vid that I have been able to find. Keep up the interesting perspective!
