We did it! Hubby & I went camping for the first time in a long time! We took your advice & went on an adventure of our own. Thanks for the push. It was so worth it. Love your videos! Your photography is stunning.
This camper really feels like "you" and your adventures with it are really showing the relaxation and focus on the trips and outdoors. I (like many others, i'm guessing) am pleased for you being able to get back to what you love and the whole point.. adventuring!
This video was sooooo beautiful. Since I have not been to the Northwest corner of the US, this was a real treat. The scenery was spectacular and the ocean, just the sound was special. Must have been great sleeping on the beach and listening to the waves. And lastly, chicken tacos looked delicious. Thanks for taking us along. 👏👏👏
That is the most cozy, gorgeous and perfect camper ever. 😊 You could literally live in it forever. What a gorgeous area and relaxing day, and it is a shame about the fires but we're getting into the fire season and the reason it's prohibited. Have to share more of your rafting trip, and therapy exercises, especially the stretches. Just enjoy, and when you get a chance to sleep in do it. ❤
Glad you are feeling better. Enjoyed the road trip and water ride. Would like to see more of your footage on the water. Great place to camp, you are so blessed to have the freedom to do what you love.✌🏻
Perhaps you should pack along a foldable or inflatable kayak if you don't have one? I've been thinking of doing this myself as I live and camp in an area of North Idaho that has so many lakes and rivers. As I car camp, a foldable/inflatable kayak would be my best option. With your camper you may have more options. Anyhow, I love your channel and y our sense of adventure. Thank you for taking us along!
Dude, if you went another 200 yards you would found the best camp spot at Shi-Shi beach. It's right off the beach in the woods. It has a rope swing, hammock, fire pit with log seating, you can get 4 tents in there and it's close to an outhouse. I almost forget the amazing view of the "point of arches" . You were so close.
I loved this video me and my friend left Boise Idaho years ago and took a 5000 mile journey fishing we started off in Portland, and then we headed up towards Seattle to visit our friends. We ended up in the Olympic Peninsula and the Ho rainforest, and that is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in my life, and Idaho has many beautiful places and I’ve been all over Washington and Oregon. We then ended up driving all the way down the coast went to Disneyland just on a whim none of this was planned and then we came back up through Yosemite so that’s how we got 5000 miles. Thanks for the video
I’m happy to hear of your improving health. I’ve been having aches & pains for some time now, so I completely get it. Love the still shots at the end. Beautiful!
A very inspiring video. Solo camping. Lots of time to relax, reflect and re-connect with all the four basic elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Air) in a short outing.
Man I love Olympic NP, me and my SO went last year on a road trip through the PNW and we were able to spend 4th of July on Ruby Beach. Watching the sunset there and seeing the fireworks set off along the water from the reservation was one of the defining moments for us to move to Portland so we’ll be closer to the insane nature Oregon and Washington has to offer. I’ve been debating proposing to her there.
I absolutely love going up to Lake Quinalt and staying at the lodge there. The area is so peaceful amd beautiful. Thank you for sharing your trips with us!
Incredible spot. Wife and I went there (and Seattle) from Georgia for our tenth anniversary. Found our names in one of the guest registry books from when we were engaged. Took our kids in 2016. Can’t wait to get back.
This video was absolutely beautiful Johnathan, , great views , great pictures , your music was spot on ..I think you missed your calling ..😊 I couldn't believe the cost of your gas ..wow love your videos , glad your feeling better 😊❤️
INCREDIBLE ⭐️ You make it all look so easy … beautiful and amazing scenery / footage WOW 🤩 enjoyed it all AND the white water 💦 rafting looked super fun SO yes I’d love to see more 💦 That campsite ⛺️ was so awesome … you have a great talent for choosing the right spot and time for your adventures ⭐️ thanks for taking your followers along AND those tacos 🌮 👍🏼⭐️
You're getting better at this. Your filming and editing are improving. I really think you are providing as good/better content then Mav. Keep it up bro, you are on the right path !!
Gorgeous place! Guided white water rafting isvthe best so much fun! Ive seen people fall over, our whole boat passengers fell backwards from one wave. Luckily no one fell off but when the river got calm some jumped into the water.
Jonathan... YOU HAVE to get a back packing fishing rod! That spot is FIRE for surf perch fishing! If you are going to camp like a King.... EAT like a king too!
I am glad your neck and your back are feeling better! I am a big believer in physical therapy. I tore my meniscus last year but ended up having to have surgery, and if it weren't for physical therapy, I don't know what I would have done. And when my surgeon told me to get on the stationary bike the next day after surgery, I thought he was crazy, but it's so helpful. I'm still doing the physical therapy exercises. I also had physical therapy for my shoulder a few years ago. You take those exercises home with you and continue to do them ❤
Awesome video and beautiful scenery. You've got a great eye for capturing the natural beauty of the outdoors. Now Ima gonna make me some shredded chicken tacos!
I just want to thank you for your videos but especially this one. I have always wanted to see this national park so I was so glad to see the beautiful scenery ,it made me feel like I was there and that last shot of the ocean was just right. Thanks again
Another excellent get-away adventure. You and Wallis are my go to accessible down-to-earth outdoors adventure persons! Btw, try hiking poles for stability and impact relief for your knees and legs. With proper use you’ll benefit!
This is an awesome trail I camped about 20 feet to your right last time I was there it took me 9 hours to drive then I hiked out there set up my tent and was out… this is one of my favorite places to backpack at..
Fun times 💕🤙 Glad to see the old knee held up, keep rehabbing it. PS- not to be a downer, but be careful burning driftwood from the ocean. Being as it's soaked in saltwater when you burn it, it releases toxins like dioxins
Your new camper is SO GREAT!!! Very happy for you!!! Sometimes the really good things can come after some bumps in the road. Enjoy your new ventures. Helene/Tx.
you should wear a walking brace on that knee my friend.. keep it all nice and tensioned a bit while over using it while sore.. Lovely video , I miss Oregon and the West coast in general. We usually sleep around Lincoln Citys beach. Lovely cove out there with seals.
Great vid. One of the most beautiful parts of the US. Was fortunate to live in Seattle area for a couple of years. Mild summers and cool summer evenings were a dream for a Georgia boy. One of my favorite places on earth is Lake Quinault and the Lake Quinault lodge. Keep up the good work.
Awesome as always Jonathan. I'm so happy to see you're out and about without the pain. Hopefully it stays this way for you. I love seeing you so happy and free. This hike camp was superbly awesome and that campsite was just breathtakingly beautiful. I wouldn't be able to leave that campsite. I bet you were so relaxed out there. How did you manage to pull yourself away from that place? Lol Thank you for sharing this amazingly wonderful adventure and for all the hard work and time you put into your videos. They are truly awesome. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU 🤗HUGS🤗
First of all… I’m so glad to see you feeling much better! I would love to see more of your white water adventure! I love your videos! Thank you for sharing part of your life!❤
Another terrific hiking video, Jonathan. Great scenery. You have amazing trips and the music is very nice in the videos. Now if you can just enjoy the coffee 😂 haha
The videos of the views with the matched classical music get me each time! Beautiful. Your final camping site was quite a sight! Looks like you are back in your element! Loved it.
Hey Johnathan What's going on man I'm glad you are on the mend man You had me worried with you knee and the other injuries and to see that you have hiked and slept out I think you will be alright (Lord Willing )
Livin' the dream Jonathon. We have camped the Olympic NP for 15 years but never the beach portion. Being that we started at 65 and are now 80 your adventures remind us of those days. Keep on keeping on my friend. Will you adopt us as your grandparents?
Jonathan - if it's your right knee in the patella tendon area that is hurting, it might be "driver's knee" from all the driving that you do. I have had a similar issue and unfortunately it can flare up when I am doing a lot of long distance drives or descents down mountains. I will wear a knee brace or patella tendon support brace when I feel it acting up.
