Mario not being mad at Luigi but instead just being scared and wondering where his brother, possibly worried for him, is just so sad.

Luigi is one of those characters you NEVER want to see cry.

i think the most depressing part of the song is the fact that mario isnt upset with luigi or anything, he just says he misses him. Just... Ouch

One thing i noticed is that EVERY lyric Luigi sings is JUST about Mario. The only times he speaks of anything else is to put himself down and even then, it comes back to him failing Mario. Which really shows just how hung up he is on this. Also the voice crack at 3:39 hit me in the feels more than anything else

Luigi with survivor’s guilt as opposed to being a ghost stuck by the mansion actually makes it much sadder. And then Peach and Toad showing up to comfort him was a good touch that actually made me sad.

What's really scary about this song is this that the existence of the Beta Game Over Screen for Luigi's Mansion means this was a VERY REAL possibility in an Nintendo game.

Listening to Mario, you hear he feels nothing against his brother, he just misses Luigi and hopes to see him/that he is okay Heartbreaking

I genuinely love the implications that Luigi made it to King boo and faced him in his bowser state, gave his all in the fight just to lose when he was most needed. Luigi called himself weak and how his fear got to him, but as he sings he shows how he did press on and tried his best.

His voice breaking after Mario's part actually breaks me- That's how you made sing FNF with lyric. Emotions is key.

I really like the ending, with Peach and Toad finding Luigi and trying to comfort him. Even though he blames himself and loathes himself over the loss of Mario, he still has friends that care about him and that will support him. Even though he feels lost and alone, he still has support to help him find his way.

I love how Mario still forgives Luigi even though he left him. It goes to show that Mario is the prime example of a great brother and hero.

The End With Peach & Toad Was The Saddest Part Of The Song Ever 😢

Luigi's voice breaking at 3:41 is SUCH nice touch on the vocals, and the post-song art was so dour. I gotta give you props juno, you respected the source material, depressing as it was.

That was a nice touch at the end, with Peach and Toad. It's nice to see that he has people to help him through this loss, and the guilt. But you know, as I thought about how all the characters would react to this, an idle thought came to my mind. How would Bowser react to this? Would he go, "Huh? Someone took down Mario? Bwa ha ha ha! Now, the Mushroom Kingdom will be mine!" Or, "What? Some ELSE took out Mario? WHO STOLE MY THUNDER!?" Maybe, "Ha, now no one will stand in my way... Wow... this is going to be dull..." Or, "Bwa ha ha., now that my rival's gone, my victory is assured... but why do I feel like something's missing...?" and then some flowers would anonymously appear before the mansion.

I'm sure everyone's already gone off about how good 3:39 is. Amazing, I honestly wish there could have been more of the like near the end, with Luigi struggling to even finish the Mansion motif. A terrific amount of respect on display for the source material, here. As someone who grew up with the Mario series, this song always tugged at my heart. The various clips from the franchise of Mario being Luigi's personal hero have got me wiping tears off of my keyboard. My mind traces back to the journals in the original Paper Mario. He really did look up to him. Thank you, Juno. As for anyone else who took the time to read this comment: Give your loved ones a call or a hug. You never know how much time with them you have left.

Honestly, "Alone" is among my favorite songs from Mario's Madness, also because Beta Luigi, among all the characters in the mod, I consider him the closest to his canonical counterpart and in this cover you managed to reflect him perfectly. Really great work Juno

The sorrow and depression this provides aside, the lyrics also show backwardly how genius the idea of King Boo was. Just as Luigi describes, Mario was always there to protect him. Taking what makes the duo the strongest and effectively gaining victory.

Well I promised Twitter I’d do this on Juno’s next upload… Boyfriend’s lyrics here are profound as always. Him reading out the Luigi’s Mansion Wikipedia article shows us that it took him a while to understand Luigi’s pain, but once he read through it, he now knew the loss Luigi felt without his brother. As always, Juno is a lyrical genius when it comes to understanding Boyfriend as a character.

3:20 is always my favourite part of Alone V2 and as always you take my favourite parts of FNF songs and just crank them to the max! Luigi’s voice is so powerful and most of it harmonises super well with Mario’s lines but also gives that sort of eerie dissonance to still provide that creepy edge to it at the same time. I really love how there's never any other emotions throughout the entire song, EXCEPT for when mario, toad, and peach appear. They don't feel anger to him because they know it was his fault, but try to convince him to fix it or comfort him enough to try again.

From bf’s lyrics being blurred, to Luigi’s slight breakdown after Mario’s part, to the ending with peach and toad, this is perfect.

This is probably one of my favorite out of the Mario Madness songs, and I don’t even like Creepypasta’s. It’s definitely due to the fact that this definitely gives off more of a “bad ending” vibe than a creepypasta one. Especially with all of the images from Luigi Mansion games and the ending, it just seems less like a creepypasta and more like what could’ve happened if Luigi failed to save Mario. And seeing on how wholesome there relationship is in the actual games, seeing Luigi in so much pain is just so sad. Thanks for making me cry Juno
