This imaginary feels like my life atm. Husband died few years ago during covid when we were 27. Felt like battle , me fighting and supporting his quest. Him constantly going through fights and perils. he didn't make it. I did. Feels like I'm still wearing that armor everyday. while remnants of his I carry around all the time much like the knight with that helmet. I do something in this feels comforting like...im not alone in that. I m doing much better....butvi miss him ...every sec of everyday. He was a true warrior.

I'm not going to lie to you weary adventurer, life is hard. The good news is, you have made it this far. Take a rest and always remember to not be so hard on yourself. You have achieved some great things and made some mistakes. Keep your head high and enjoy the journey.

Throughout my life, I have spent a lot of time out in the woods and camping. From hanging my hammock and tarp to gathering firewood and making a fire, I have never felt more at home than in the woods. Now that I am older (40), I take this time to reflect on my past. I have carried many titles, and each of those titles has so much weight attached to it. My journey has taken me around the world. I have got to experience both heaven and hell on earth. I have experienced the joy of having children, and I have said goodbye to many close friends. From time to time, the thoughts can get dark because i miss the good times. Either when my children were small and i wasn't quite in the moment or getting into trouble with my friends that are no longer with me. Even now, i write this message through tears, but i try to remind myself that these are tears brought on by a life worth living. My children may be older, i may not be a soldier anymore, and the wars are over, my life isnt. So while it's good to sit by a fire and reminisce, i must leave my memories back at the campfire, so i am mentally present for what is to come. I hope whatever you may be reminiscing on while listening is calming and joyful. If it isn't, there will come a day when what you're feeling now is just another memory. You will look back and recognize the pain or loneliness and remember how you moved forward. If you ever stumble across a 6' tall ginger dude with a big red beard in Ocala forest with a hammock and blazing fire. Say hello and take a seat. I can hook you up with some good food and some of the craziest stories.

Even if you live a miserable life today, you have already experienced moments of joy and happiness in your life. even if they are minimal, a delicious and different food that you tried one day, a moment of laughter with friends or family, the excitement of playing or finishing a game. Think about those little moments of joy, and use all your strength to fight against everything in your environment that destroys those moments, use the core of your being to be a better person, evolve in the different aspects of life, and feed that little flame of these memories and good moments so that they become more common in your life and you live a happy life, I trust in you and in everyone who has read this message so far that you can win in life and live a happy life, do not give up

I left my party members behind so that I could chase after all the interesting side quests. Now I’m back but my old party members have all decided to give up adventuring, and have grown to resent my level advantage. I’m stuck searching for the next quest alone, but the rewards and xp don’t mean anything to me anymore, and I’m stuck in my head reliving the glorious adventures of the past. I just want to believe there’s a party out there somewhere that needs me - that wants me… but then even when a likely recruit appears, I realize I‘ve grown too accustomed to solo questing, and I don’t even remember how to be on a team anymore.

Today is my birthday and my wife is away for a business trip, my family is with me but I'm sad. My grandma passed away a few months ago and my grandfather a few years ago, i never fully recovered from his death and now my grandma's one hit hard on me, i really miss them and i hope i can make them proud wherever they are.

I got fired 2 times in the last 8 months, and I have been unemployed for almost 2 months ... the last time they fired me, they don't even give me time to prepare for it, told me 4 minutes beforehand. My journey has hardened me, and I am so very tired. I have grown from a stubborn and spoiled child to the humble provider of my family that I am now. It hurts, because for this to happen...I had to lose my father along the way. With all the negatives and wrongs I presented, he always saw the light in me. Even til his last breath, he showed me what it was to be a TRUE warrior. It's been almost 10 years, and the grief never goes away. There are many times along my path where I wish his guidance was available, when I needed his help in battle...or when I needed him to see my light again when I was too blind to. I have spent many days with the thought, "Would my father be proud of who I am today?" The truth is...he was always proud of who I was. Because I was his son. My friends, know that you are never alone in your journey. When you sit by your campfire and look at the stars, know that the rest of us are doing the same. We are one, and we will fight til the very end.

This is so simple yet so fucking powerful. It really is like a needed checkpoint for a lifetime. It amazes me how this sounds creates such states of mind. At first I felt some nostalgy, like being sad but at the same time joyful. Then I felt so relaxed, almost fall sleep and now I feel so grateful for being alive and to come to this point in time and space so I could listen to this.

A month ago I lost my dad. I feel partially at fault. He was a very healthy man physically, always working out and eating healthy. The only problem was that he was addicted to smoking. He was also drinking with his work friends, but he never even once drank with me or any family. As his son, I know about it. However, I just let it be because I thought it was normal. I was under the impression that it was fine because my grandpa is still alive and he is a smoking addict as well. However, it didn't turn out fine. I mean he was bed ridden for weeks in the hospital. As his son, I should've paid him visits regularly. But even that I didn't do. I have no excuses honestly. I'm just a horrible son. I keep trying to reason with myself and make excuses for the sake of myself but I'm not sure if that's okay with my conscience. Everytime I think about him, I always feel atleast a tiny bit guilty. Maybe if I helped convinced my dad to quit smoking and drinking, just maybe he would maybe still be alive? I'm starting college now and evertime I think back, I feel like life is unfair. But who am I to blame life when I didn't do anything when I had it all? When I had the power and time to stop it, I simply didn't care enough. Well now the memories are becoming more and more forgettable. Even my sadness is growing duller every day but I still can't shake the thought that maybe I killed my dad. If I was a better son, would he have lived? I feel wronged in a way that I can't remember if my dad even ever said the word proud, or love to me. I mean I know he loved and cared for me like no other but never hearing those words from him really sucks. It feels like I've skipped a part of my life. Like something is now forever without me being able to regain it ever. Man, I miss my dad. He was honestly a great father. I was a horrible son. How could I visit him only once when he had done so much more when I was at his place. Why was I so dumb? Even now I'm not sure if I would make the right choice if something like that happens again. It's like I know its the right thing to do but I just don't do it. Haha and you know, I started praying to God like the last week he was alive. I kept praying to please let him live. I didn't care if God needed to take my life if he got to live. But I guess God had other plans. I know it's not God's fault but I still even if little blame God. Well not blame but I became disappointed with God. How could he take my dad away when I'm not even a fleshed out Adult? But I know it's just how life is. I don't want to try to sound philosophical or anything but thing come and go and I'm starting to grasp the meaning of that. I don't know the point of this, I just don't know if I have the right to be sad. In a way, my dad could've lived longer if I was a better person. Maybe he would have had the will to live if I had visited him regularly. Why? Why am I such a horrible person. Maybe if I just wasn't so lazy and stuck up and actually had the courage to visit my dad, he would still be living right now. At the very least, I hope he is in heaven now. And the very least I can do now is be successful. I hope all y'all do well in life and don't repeat my mistake.

my feet are sore from walking. my armor is shattered. on the plus side, travelling is strangely easier. i feel more nimble and dextrous. the armor really did weigh me down all along. im afraid to sleep. "what if there are monsters out there? what if there are monsters out there?" i know im strong enough to defeat them. its the being caught off guard i dislike. "how did i not detect the danger beforehand?" im coming to terms with the limits of my own power and my reliance on fellow party members during this journey. i've spent far too long travelling alone. its still hard for me to believe my party members won't turn on me for letting my guard down, for not saving everyone in the land. im supposed to be the hero. im supposed to be strong.
