One step at a time, thats what they say. But it's really not that simple. That would be leaving out all the highs and lows, the joy and laughter, all the struggle and hardships that make you a stronger person. There's more to it than mere effort and the steps you take along the way.
See all the aspects of hiking the Continental Divide Trail, from New Mexico's barren deserts, Colorado's high peaks, Wyoming's diverse landscapes, and Montana's rugged forests. Enjoy all the unique moments of friendship, determination, and sore feet during my 2023 thru-hike of the CDT.

I've watched a lot of thru hikes from people with different backgrounds. I'd call this one "Frat boys tackle the CDT. Cinematography is top notch. Story telling is excellent. From all other CDT thru hike vids you could feel the solitude. Not so much with your video. Seems more about the "frat boys" enjoying a journey... well done!

I hiked this trail SOBO in '22 and this film made me relive all of those special, magical moments... I felt moved and emotional as I now find myself navigating through real life struggling to find some real excitement... Gosh I miss those trail moments. I'm hoping you'll do the AT. Appalachia are among the oldest mountain formations on earth. Not to mention the PCT and CDT are very similar though very different from each other. I think nothing compares to the culture of Appalachia. Happy trails my friend. Maybe I'll see you out there some day. I'll say, a lot of these films inspire me to start my own adventure.

My husband and I have loved both of your films. Extremely well done! We both have wondered - what are your "day" jobs (any/all) of you that allow you to not work for so long? Any thru hiking we would do has to wait until we retire!

This was so beautiful. The hike. The Vibes. The filming and editing. I'm going to do the A.T. next year and I understand that calling of the trail no matter how hard it is. And for those who complain about alternative routes, etc, go for a walk and film yourself. 2 little questions, where is the girl since Wyoming and no bear encounters?

Biggie and Shepard’s path and timing varied compared to the rest of us but we still were close by each other most of the way. We finished a day apart and met up again in Canada. And there were only a few minor bear encounters surprisingly and I didn’t get any on camera.
