Magic The Gathering + Chess is a good way to put in a nutshell the kind of experience you'll have with Sorcery. Been telling my friends its the baby MTG and Fire Emblem would make, lol.

Ebay ended auctions are not the same as sold. When I use 130point it are mainly the foils that been sold and non foil phil stone of course.

Every box opening gets me more hyped for beta! I want to eventually collect a non-foil set of alpha Sorcery. Do y’all think it would be best to start picking up ordinaries and exceptionals now or when beta releases?

I'd work on picking up your alpha uniques asap. Those are at a low enough quantity that demand TO KEEP will matter more than the supply available to players so market will correct upwards somewhere within/around a year's time. Especially the Frank arts, which won't be in beta. I'd also say the philosophers' stone is equally important because it commands such a chase.

This is information that could be released by the Sorcery team sometime in the future due to the redemption dust feature on each alpha box. Nothing has been stated yet though. Hope they do give us some numbers sometime, be interesting to see.

The original artist must own the rights to it, and they probably contracted with the artist would be my guess. The same is true for several other cards like Death Dealer.
