I just got into safety razor shaving tks to you and the gentelman from executiveshaving! i am 32 by the way, and always used gillette m3 razors...but maaaan! what a difference! tks to you gentelman i got my first wet shave with an edwin jagger DEL8714. Wanted a muehle 107 but it os hard to find so i did some research and found out edwin jagger has same head supplied by muehle ( wanted white handle or ivory). First shave was amazing, no cuts on the first pass, using a regular gel cream, as my supplies have yet to arrive. Second pass i worked good, had only a little pinch cut, nothing serious. Baby smooth! Can't wait for my hair to grow yo cut it with all the good stuff.

Hi Geo, I received my mild Outlaw razor yesterday February 5th. In the UK its the Executive shaving Outlaw. I believe they are teamed with Alpha. I already have the standard Outlaw, the two handles you have there and also the new "Elegant" handle. I love both razors. I find the Mild really efficient. I used the mild yesterday with a Nacet blade and Castle Forbes Lavender soap. Take care buddy, Dave.

@@guganesan.ilavarasan Hi, I use numerous blades as I'm still searching for that perfect shave combination of razor, blade, soap & brush etc. I have quite a lot of razors and many different blades. Nacet are really good, Feather on 3rd use are good, Vikings sword & "A Best" are really good. 7 o' clock greens and yellows are good as are perma-sharp. I think though that Nacet are about the best I have used in my 2 Outlaws, standard and mild. I hope this helps you mate! Take care, Dave.

I need these razors to go with my 8 other razors. LOL Steve Tinter (Alpha Shaving) must be happy that Geo is now finally carrying his razors. I have the standard Outlaw with Bravo handle. It is an excellent razor. As described by Geo. I will probably get the mild to use for 2-3 day growth. I've been finding the standard slightly over aggressive for this situation. Can see it performing optimally for me with 3-5 days growth.

Hi Geo I own the Outlaw but you just put the blade over the posts put the base plate on and that was it. If I do that the blade doesn’t align. I have to put the blade over the posts press the blade down and hold it down whilst I put the base plate on and tighten the handle up. If I do that I get a nice shave. Many Thanks for your time Keep well and keep safe.

Hi Leslie, Looks like I'm following you around!! I have often thought this myself! Like you I have to be very careful putting the blade in both Outlaws. Everything lines up perfectly without a blade. I think it's because the razor puts quite a severe bend/curve in the blade which could make the holes for the posts slightly larger which allows the blade to move off line. Take it easy mate, Dave.

Nice. I have been shaving myself with the Alpha Outlaw now for a couple of months, and it is great with a very good grip. Next up the Alpha Shaving Brushes? Alpha Outlaw Shaving Brush or the Alpha T-400 Shaving Brush. Both synthetic brushes. I noticed often that when you latter the shaving cream, you get it on the brush handle and your fingers. The Alpha T-400 has a bit longer than usual handle, looks more like a painting brush.

Hi Geo I live in the UK so I bought mine from Executive Shaving. One thing when you use the Outlaw is to make sure of the blade alignment. I have tried mine with different blades and I to liked the Feather but I used a Gillette Silver Blue the other day and had an excellent shave. Mine is the standard and I would say if you bye one and are not sure straight away persevere and you will be rewarded. If you are new this way of shaving probably not a first razor buy a DE89L and practice your technique. Keep safe and keep well.

You temper it because it heats the razor and the blade thus helping its slice through the beard more easily-have you ever heard the saying like a hot knife through butter? Steel is a great conductor of heat and cold... do you have extremely warm water like Geo and I do it makes and even bigger difference to temper the razor...

I own the mild version of this razor. It is beautiful but I don't like it . I get great shaves with mild razors like the Merkur 34C, EJ D89, Timor and Henson. With the Alpha my face feels so raw and irritated after use. I take great care with my shaving routine. PreShave Oil, top notch creams/soaps alum and after shave balms. I use a light touch but just can't win with the Alpha. Have tried different blades but results always the same- irritated skin, weepers, etc. I think there may be a problem with blade alignment. I have read this in other reviews. I am a huge fan of Geo. I have purchased many products from Geo over the years and will continue to do so. I wish I could recommend this razor but caveat emptor. At this time I use the Alpha handle with the EJ or Timor head.

people are shaving these days??? a good majority of guys I see have beards or stubble or at least shadow... even before covid... hell I only use a hair shaver for my beard now and it trims it up to the perfect stubble.. not too sloppy but no more ingrown hairs or razor burn... I'm so glad the stubble fashion became mainstream... I hated razor shaving... it only feels good for half a day then I get all sorts of ingrown hairs... and that sucks for weeks... if I have to do a closer shave I'll just use electric.. that still causes ingrown hairs but not nearly as bad
