Alright, I was finally able to do it. I needed someone's help in the final phase to keep an eye on my health and tell me when to eat while I ran around. My one critique of your advice is the use of Sara brews. That was bad because it reduced my necro to the point where I couldn't fight. I feel rocktails is the best way to go.
The workaround with brews (which I did forget to mention) is that 3 brew doses + 1 dose of super restore gets your stats back to normal. The overloads are important too because every 15 sec they re-boost your stats, but I did have a panic myself the first time I tried to use a high level Necro ability in the final phase and wasn't able to because of the brews. There is a lot to pay attention to, having someone there to watch health for you as you get used to the rest of the fight is a good idea lol. I'd still say brews + restores are better than rocktails because chugging solid food will kill all your adrenaline, and it's desperately needed to end the final phase quickly. Some people use Guthix rests for 500 HP per dose, and blue blubbers. They heal less but can be eaten at the same time and don't reduce adrenaline
@@jasper_72 I'm extremely inexperienced with bossing. The only time I used Saradomin brews were in 2010 while fighting Nomad (pre eoc) and in 2021 during Extinction (where I didn't need restores). I usually use legacy mode to fight, but use revolution while doing difficult bosses. I get that food kills your adrenaline, but each rocktail heals 2300, while each brew dose heals only 1100, meaning you can heal faster with food which is necessary there. I also should say that when I did try the brew strategy, I carried six full brews and the rest rocktail (I also tried some portents but moved away from those as I didn't have the high level ones). I didn't start drinking the brews until the final phase, and then I quickly lost my necromancy to 1, where the only damage was done by the skeleton. I kept rewatching your video thinking, "what's the point of adrenaline if you don't have the level to use it". I totally missed that you were also recommending super restores haha.
I suck at combat, but your video helped me a lot. I did it! in the end i did panic, clicking everywhere trying to move away from getting hit while also spam clicking my sar brews. lol but I survived!

I'm lucky to get 2 min with t90 tank gear and the omni guard I spooned. I think the gist of it is adrenaline renewal pot + Living Death and abusing the Death Skulls/vuln bomb bug, lol. Jagex mentioned they want to keep some damage ramping effect this bug has but I do wonder of they'll allow it to stay this crazy.
you need to make a guide for legacy combat. I'm level 99 and i don't use abilities or eoc combat. I only combat with legacy. The quest is stupid hard on legacy. Help please.
I just assumed this quest was impossible on legacy, lol. Since the last phase pretty much requires constant running + hotkeys to attack at the same time. I've never played rs3 in Legacy, but I've been a lot into OSRS lately so maybe i'd get the hang of it. Can't promise it'll work out but it's on my list now.
