Definitely not a problem! You can run it as you like. Bearing failure. Maybe manufactoring fault or the bearing ran hot , cause it has been ran without water in the loop for too long. You can buy another 2600 or 3600 rpm pump and change it yourselve if the warrenty has run out. The metal decal is only glued on. But afterwards it does not look that fancy anymore. but it works.
Well mine is doing absolutely no noise and I feel a very small vibration on the block, lots of air trapped in and is obviously having problem to push through a very small loop, 120mm rad, 4 elbows.... anyway cpu at 4.4GHz full load is 50degree but liquid seems to be stagnant. Very hard to bleed, and weak at 96% rpm... not sure what to do
The loop was full. Alphacool informed me the pump died and sent a replacement without me even asking. The block assembly is extremely shitty. Cheap plastic and rubber to dampen the noise. Not even 6 months of usage and it's already corroded!!!
I used a longer tube and rattled the fucker for 2 hours, next day for 1 hour and a week later for 30 minutes. Definitely no air in it anymore. I will not be doing that again. Next time I take it apart, I'll chuck it straight into the trash can and I'm setting up an entirely separate reservoir.
The cables running from your pump to your radiator shouldn't be going upwards rotate both your pump and the radiator so that the cables are coming from the bottom to the pump you should watch Gamernexus video on the subject its pretty recent you should have no problem finding it but in a nutshell air is blocking the water from going to your pump
