Thanks for your compliment. I am trying to grow the channel to a point where it becomes a sustainable income for me. Also cause I really like learning and sharing knowledge.
Bro! TQVM for the very insightful/useful video. I am thinking to remove the left side 2nd row seat (to install welcab seat). From your video, I was keen about everything until the cable get cut. Would that cause trouble as if I want to put the pilot seat back in the future? I'm worrying connected cable might not be as strong as the original single piece, or the length might get shorten/lengthen so the future installation moght not be as firm as original?
Actually, you can make do without cutting the cable. There is a socket and a bolt that holds it to the seat. Just unplug the socket and unbolt it and u are good to go. I didn't do it this way cause I didn't want that white plastic socket getting in my way earlier.
yeah, took awhile. in the last two months, I only released like 3 videos. Internet here is bad and with the new house, been pretty occupied.

Hi, thank you very much. But do you know if I can fit (1+ 1 wide seat) to have 3 seats instead of 2 ( in my 2gen. Alphard) in the middle raw (as my family is growing)? That has become very important now. Thank you
Good morning TC😊 I need a advice regarding how to take out the cigarette lighter socket from a AH-20. I’ve tried but it seems tough….😢 and quick and easy way to do it.? Thanks
Ohhh i didn't remove the tracks. If you own an Alphard 10 series, its easy cause the bolts are on top. But 20 and 30 series Alphards have their bolts on the bottom of the car. You will need to loosen your exhaust and fuel tank to get access to them.
hey mate can these be the same from models from 2017 ( 3rd generation ) I watched your back row seats removal as well. Also can we remove the sliding metal where the seats attached to if Im wanting to convert my Alphard to an empty work van with the back seats removed and use as a work space.
yes, its the same with the 3rd generation seats. Removing the rails on the 2nd and 3rd gen is pretty difficult. You have to jack the car up, loosen the exhaust system..... just to have access to the nuts underneath.
Same way it was removed.... except it takes a lot more muscle and sweat to lift the chair up as opposed to lifting it down the car. =). Wiring wise, just attach connectors and connect them.
Hi I have the same vehicle don’t need to remove seat but am replacing blanking cover for Toyota part that is fitted to the non leather model seats that can slide from side to side you just need to replace existing part as cable mechanism is already there just not used but I am having trouble removing them side covers to access and fit new part willing to share photos of new part and no If you know of an easy way of removing them covers.
Hi bro, do you have any idea to fix the mid row electronic chair button on the side? Mine were stuck already , can press lean up but cant to press lean dowb
you most likely need to replace the switch shopee.com.my/Genuine-Toyota-Alphard-Vellfire-ANH20-GGH20-2008-2014-Rear-Power-Seat-Switch-Lefthand-Side-i.141512155.4814505944?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_fiLBhDOARIsAF4khR0v0JaSrZBkLQuJGyfc7_WCf7gBskIZP9L5jahk4XUiOL7cg8DoTdMaAt3HEALw_wcB
@@raymunhong2076 you can try to dismantle the switch and see if the reason it is stuck is because of dirt and gunk. If it is, then its still fixable. But if its the return mechanism that is broken then the only way to fix is to replace.
To remove the rails, you will need to jack the car up, loosen the exhaust and fuel tank just to access the nuts that is holding the rails. I didn't do it cause I have no need to remove the rails at the moment.
if its shaking then there is a possibility that one of your bolts are loose. But if you are saying that it vibrates and makes a lot of noise, then you might want to take it out, flip it over and see what's loose.
Connect a USB charger to the seats? Yes you can but wiring wise, you got two options. Connect to the wires that operates the seats (but this means the USB will be powered all the time as the wires are live even when the car is turned off ) or run a new positive from the fuse box. I was pondering on doing this but didn't proceed cause it means drilling a hole into the seat side cover to mount the usb plug.
