I also like it and this game uses it very nice in every fight except this one, some attacks you can really learn very well the pattern but most of them are just bullshit lol.
I just beat the fight and its very rewarding to master honestly, it isnt rng its just really good reaction times. Also the focus helps a lot though i didnt actually use it so i could lower alphys health as much before phase 2 and kill her in 2 or 3 turns. im confident he can no-hit it lol
@@quietflowerssi beat the fight in 5 tries. Throughout the fight i found fun only in the fact i was about to kill the character i like least with like mettaton probably. The cyan soul is absolutely trash, and the fight is much more about predicting and remembering then reacting with is pretty bad. Also, maybe it’s just me but asriel is literally completely useless? Or at least I don’t see why he’s here and takes a full turn? If you have healing items he’s literally useless. And most people have that.
@@Tumeton you're not using asriel correctly, i could only beat the fight using asriel when i had a lot of heals just do regen on one turn, then do defense on the next turn, and keep doing that over and over and if you don't do a horrible job dodging you'll slowly gain health whereas if you full heal you'll lose most of it in the next turn, nullifying the purpose of it besides, memorization fights are fine, they just require a different skill than reaction time
oh neat, If in the tired phase the attacks just loop I would probably lose (because I am treating it as a survival fight, I'm never attacking alphys, too much damage if I don't use the FOCUS or INV up and heal when I need to) cuz I'm just waiting for a chance to one hit her (doesn't seem like that's a possibility tho), so as someone who needed to use easy mode in UTY to beat the geno final boss, thanks for this info
Unlike everyone else i really liked the ending Lackluster ? Sure but thats the point of the run not to make you feel good At first i HATED how Asgore just let Asriel talk him down and take his card like that but when i noticed the self destruct and him tricking them i got his plan Would rather him absorbing the souls and killing them but that works too
the thing is, the thing is satisfying until the end where it just becomes unsatisfying and they managed to make me feel bad in other ways while still keeping it satisfying, since the whole monster kid thing made me feel really bad but the story didn't resort to cheap tactics like being poorly written in order to make the ending bad they could've written another way for asriel to suffer the consequences than dying in his sleep
Well that because..... SPOILERS: Sans died protecting Papyrus, and during the Undyne The Undying fight she notices that Asriel/Flowey killed everyone because of her fault, so after evacuate everyone she decides to take action and run to the Judgement hall to kill us
i mean, im good with a alphys fight in genocide, but damn it happens the same with the original genocide run, kills off the another boss monsters making them pathetic
@cetadel6597 That doesn't really fit Papyrus's personality. Him trying to spare you at the end of Starton makes the most sense. Of course, you can technically spare Papyrus still if you keep wasting your turns, but then that would require making a huge alternate final boss and that's very time consuming
@@shaunduzstuffs I mean he comes back. Like you catch him trying to help evacuate people. His fight is a mix between him trying to get you to stop and him trying to run away. Or he shows up with Alphys in the end. Instead of a last-stand, it's him trying to get her to run, and he gets roped into a fight he doesn't want to take.
Not seeing the video because of spoilers,but i wanna say that when i tried the demo i loved both routes and i was wishing that the game fully released....and here it is!!
i have a feeling quitting genocide is smt i should do at this point because i literally can't dodge her attacks ; - ; unless god can grant me some inf hp i stand no chance with her, i've never done anything like those attacks before.
@Icedonot No it's not. You can just title it "ps outertale final boss completed" and not put the final boss in the thumbnail. I don't care much about spoilers but blatantly spoiling a surprise final boss less than a day after release is just insane

@@panda_boy2689not at ALL. She took me 5 tries. And in the 4th I literally had to stop moving at the start of an attack because I had to do something. If you get Golden bandana, martlet is very easy. But if you get temmie armor, pretty alphys is like toriel level difficulty lol.
Probably similar to getting love 9-13 for Undyne the Undying in regular Undertale. Just the amounts of EXP specific enemies give. Gotta be really optimized or lucky.
@@akayisnotokay in ps!outertale you need to be mad lucky to get LV15 because there is no mercy button You need to get LV14 when fighting mettaton neo so his 2000 exp gives you LV15
