Asgore. Just Asgore. This guy is actually cheeky and smart as hell for that play. Bro just nonchalantly lets them take the key and escape, and then waits to blow them up.
I think most people see this as a reskin because most of the characters are just Undertale characters but in space. Yes there are some new characters that are made, But most are redesigned to look space theme. Pacifist and most neutral routes are the same. You spare the main bosses, Fight the big omega star thing, then reload to do pacifist things and fight asriel dreemur. The plot is mostly the same. But genocide OH. That's where this game is at its best 1. After killing toriel Asriel destroys your mercy and accompanies you and helps you commit genocide. 2. Undyne the undying, Mettaton Neo, And Alphys are all really good fights. Undyne has new types of spears, Mettaton and Alphys give you Two of the only soul types never used in official Undertale/Deltarune. 3. The music, When you kill half of an area the music changes kinda like in Ut Yellow and it's a banger in my opinion. 4. You can get different endings in this genocide. You can spare papyrus, Muffet, mad dummy, and even a few core monsters to get a new ending where the outpost doesnt blow up and is saved by those you spared. 5. After doing genocide with Asriel, you reset and can do Your own genocide run where you actually reach lvl 20 and even get a interesting from sans in the end. It at first feels like a neutral run but in the end it is a genocide run. Basically what I'm saying is that while people can say pacifist and even neutral runs are basically undertale but space. No one can say that the genocide runs you can do are reskins. In my opinion doing genocides is the best part about this.
also this is off topic but monster kid is fucking bullshit, how come he deals like 28ish damage during the muffet fight but managed to fucking split undyne in half, monster kid was either holding back or this game has some shitty logic
Insanely forced. Out of character and makes little sense as well. Not to mention it was replaced by a fight that’s just.. completely worse. But hey at least it’s not gaster blaster spam or something. Instead it’s spam of attacks you need to predict instead of react to. Lol.
I do like the fact that their isn't a generic sans fight in this one, but at the same time I feel like there was potential for something else involving him instead of just dying instantly, maybe a combo battle with papyrus or smth
Tip for the alphys fight: when you get to the second phase and you pretty much don’t have any items use the regenerative and defense ability of asriels and keep using them every turn until you have at least 50 hp then attack. Repeat this process until you finally kill her.
Another tip: You can obtain the temy armor, which is available in this route thanks to the devs being "generous" (or rather, it is due to the fact that the chaotic route is treated as a non-canon timeline, and bears no consequences to The Universe inside the game).
I love how Monster Kid is treated like Noelle in this game, you manipulate his actions and how others perceive him. And that Undyne interaction was gut busting with Monster Kid realizing he almost killed his hero.
Including fact, that CANON fell asriel is just goat who tired of life(the one that wears green, yellow, black striped sweater), makes outer!asriel most edgy goatbro ever made
In early development I'm pretty sure when killing toriel and papyrus you would do 9999999 damage but in the newest version you kill toriel as normal and papyrus takes 680 damage (His max hp)
Probably on Dark Neutral but it shouldn't be possible on Genocide Route (because Sans fight is overrated, Every Fangame already done it and the fact Undertale only get popular because of that fight alone basically destroying what make Undertale unique to the point if Fangame has no sans fight it quickly considered "bad", just show that sans fight ruined every Fangame chance at making unique Fangame because if it has no sans fight, Community sent threat over it, in short, #### this community)
This is one of the very few UNDERTALE fangames that make Asgore justice and I appreciate them for that Also, HOLY SHIT the Alphys fight was unexpected, she was always a controversial character and replacing Sans with her of all the characters is a bold but brave move
I love the speech Alphys is making, essentially trying to get Asriel paranoid enough to try and stab the player in the back, in a sort of "if i go down I'm taking you to hell with me", very smart move.
honestly idk why people hate the cyan soul. sure it is very hard and annoying, but it is such a genius idea! a soul that can go through walls? that is amazing!
You can get a slightly better ending if you leave certain characters alive. Just make sure you do so when a certain somebody isn't around to see it happen...
Maybe that was the point. Genocide route in any Undetale game is suppose to be an unsatisfying experience, so it figures we get an unsatisfying ending to this.
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="49">0:49</a> this reminds me of that one Roblox game called Fallen stars, an undertale fan game, toriel had this same attack I swear
you really need Temmie armor to make more fair, however after you kill Mettaton you cant go back and buy the armor afaik. So you will need to restart the run. Or use debug and gove yourself the armor
@@buszka695 Undyne fight ain't hard the annyoing part is that when you miss one arrow (which happened to me ALOT it just messes up completely and thats annoying)
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1794">29:54</a> Alphys is the new Sans of this fangame <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1804">30:04</a> HIS SONG <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1814">30:14</a> IS VERY GOODNESSSS🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's great that theres a new undertale fangame that actually covers the entirety of the game, not just a singular fight or just being a demo and being discontinued, but outside of that I really dislike the way they went about it. It feels far too similar to the original game in some aspects and in others it feels like they went full fanservice with no regard to logic. the biggest outlier of this being alphys. Now, I want to clarify that there is nothing wrong with alphys being the final boss in the genocide route, but the way they did it by killing off sans in snowdin is just blatantly lazy and contrived. Why would sans jump into the slash? Why didn't he just move papyrus? Maybe you could argue that he wasn't thinking, but that's completely ignorant of who sans is a character and the experiences he's been through. It feels like whoever made this fangame just really wanted to have alphys as the final boss, and not only that, but completely remove everything enjoyable about her character and instead replace it with a weirdly cocky and arrogant version of her that seemingly goes from "I'm so sad and pathetic and depressed" to "I'm actually going quip constantly and try to trash talk you even though I just had everyone i know killed". And seeing as how this tonal shift of alphys' character is throughout every route and not just the genocide route, it makes it all the worse to see this version of her as the final boss. Not only that, but the genocide routes ending with asgore just completely missed the target, in the original game, Asgore was seemingly oblivious to what was happening or atleast who was doing it as he seemingly didnt recognize frisk. But in this fangame he knew about everything, and his dialogue just felt off, uninspired and just bland, almost like he didnt care all that much about what was happening. Not only that but why didnt they kill him? Maybe as an act of cruelty to make him suffer through the destruction of the outpost, but i dont really see the logic behind that. Regardless, his "Plan" was extremely easy to see through, making frisk and asriel seem incredibly idiotic. Ultimately though it just felt like every character was bland, unmotivated and a shell of their former selves.
Asriel just becomes insufferably obnoxious, as if he's actually contributed anything to any of the fights besides Undyne, where we still did the majority of the work. The ending is in my opinion both satisfying and absolutely perfect.
I’m not against the Sans death, but I HATE how it was handled. If you’re gonna kill off Sans like that, Papyrus should fight us seeing as we killed his own brother. Hell, in original Undertale, he was prepared to fight us if we rejected his mercy, he just wasn’t prepared for us to one shot him
Will do you one better, there's UTY where you don't SEE sans lol I don't mind not fighting sans though, good change even if I have issues with the alphys fight... and character.. but you know, could be worse
Frisk:And now i was remembered... I was make my big mistake,Beacuse i crash Kai and Sam wedding... Please Rowen...PLEASE FORGIVE ME...!*Dust* Rowen:I understand but...i have to do it ...Goodbye
This feels like a vibe check on the fandom between casual fans who like all of the edgy au battles and video essayists who focus on deep diving on undertale's characters and storyline post 2020 to the point theyre disconnected from the general populace of opinion. I dont think either side is objectively right or wrong, but theres clearly a lot of differing opinions tbis fangame is brinigng to light as a game made for the second group.
Sans never outright knew about resets, only assumed that the player was doing some time related nonsense and going off facial expressions. For a fandom that loves their icon so much they sure don’t know the character.
i hate asriel. i started playing like an hour ago, with an genocide route, and the whole playthrogh is me hating on him, for getting in my way let me get this straight, you can't kill him on the genocide route? cause if yes, than i'll just start over with a pacifist one
I mean the new stuff is cool but, doesn’t this kind of go against what the genocide route is supposed to be? That being a bastardization of the main game that feels contorted and wrong. The act of adding so much new stuff to it just feels like itself a bastardization of what it should be, or how it at least should be at a base level.
@@LazuLightz that’s I guess what my point is, as genocide shouldn’t be the main focus of undertale as a story or a game or the point of it. The pac route in outertale is just diet undertale with the majority of new content being exclusive to the genocide route.
@@EasternStory I mean I did, and I do like the archives and final part to it, but I guess it’s just that the genocide route is so changed and in my opinion, better and more fun overall with the best mechanics being there, that I kind of felt bad that I did play the geno route first purely because it’s just more interesting
@@JOHNsomething-pn3so And this is very stupid. I understand not making Sans the focus of genocide, but killing him at the very beginning? And be happy about it just because "I'm so special I don't like Sans fights"? When will this fandom finally grow up? Constantly jump from one extreme to the other.
I’m not trying to be rude but in my opinion this route geniunly ruins EVERYTHING about genocide. It’s edgy, gives you NO CHANCE TO GO BACK. Makes it seem like it’s all asriels fault instead of yours. It’s just wrong in every way and is the embodiment of the fandoms “oooh edgy killing everyone thing.” And sans having 1 hp and being oneshot is dumb as well he doesn’t even have 1 hp.
@@Oldchannel827How do you actually do it tho? I was farming some monsters alongside Asriel, then I suddenly got the idea to spare everyone thanks to Monster Kid, however even as I didn't kill enough monsters, I was still forced into the Undyne the Undying fight.
@@FichaGris so apparently you have to spare as many monsters as possible including not exhausting the kill count (you can spare papyrus and muffet by wasting turns via acting) choose puzzles in the core instead of fights I’ve heard there’s an item that acts as a mercy button but idk where it is
@@sarahcivilization9905honestly im all for inique fights, but i think alphys just doesnt have a presense like sans- like its a great boss- but it feels like its missing something. Also admittedlt They wrote sans out in a dumb way I mean Bro died just so papyrus could also die later on lmao
@sarahcivilization9905 I think the main issue is that alphys like an obstacle While sans felt like karma Sure the alphys fight is harder 10x But you know She just feels like she's in the way despite that
