Shut up, dude... You are annoying! Why are you using a term like "frustrating"...??? This makes no sense at all, you trashtalker! Alpinas are for quite different customers than most of BMWs. Here in Bavaria and Germany nobody complains about differences between Alpinas and BMWs, because both make fantastic vehicles. An Alpina is still a BMW after all, you trashtalking clown!
US market wouldn't appreciate it. It would fill the price gap between the (starting price) of the M3 competition and the M3 CS at $95k. I know we've had the B7 and currently the B8, and XB7 Alpina models, but those were lower volume cars.
@@mazzflex9896 its not a 3 series body. the 2023 LCI 3 series has a huge black plastic on the back bumper now. this has the rear bumper more similar to a 2020 Pre- LCI m340i but with the front end of the 2023 LCI M340i but without black grille (as m340i has shadowline package standard). plus the canards on it. so you cant spec any regular BMW m340i or 330i to look like this alpina b3 GT
Alpina B3 GT with CCB's would be a forever car! So sad we don't get these in the states, they bring over models that barely sell here which is probably intentional.
You think that they intentionally sell FEWER cars? That might be one of the dumbest statement i ever read. Just accept the fact that there is no market for Alpina in the US because it does not appreciate these types of cars.
Alpina's are stylish and not too flashy, you're still sort-of under the radar as the public doesn't always know what you're driving and see it as a regular BMW
…never thought it but some sad circumstances made me able to order one ALPINA B3 GT in tanzanite blue metallic. I’m so curious about this car. Current ride is a Mustang GT but it has to go for the ALPINA after over 5 years. I think I will miss the V8 sound for sure… but the 3.OL inline-six sounds also great and is a fantastic engine! 🤩🥰😎
I'm just starting out in my career and I'm especially disappointed because I can't afford the last of the combustion performance cars new. All of these legendary cars will be electric before I can buy them new and what will be the point then?
Second hand ICEs are still better than new BEVs, just go for it! Buying new only means you lose more money in terms of depreciation, so buy second hand is the smarter way!
I would have this over an M3 every single time. This is a classic BMW, done properly. I absolutely love it. I just hope BMW don’t end up ruining the Alpina brand…
Wouldn't it be possible to buy one of these and simply bring it to the US? Or is there some mundane law prohibiting such an attempt. Because if that were not (or maybe still even) the case and I was in the market for one of these beauties I'd definitely do that in an instant and up keep + maintain it for life.
The only thing that I would consider replacing my E92-N54 335IS with - but its got a custom tune, LSD, Konis, brembos, delren arms and rods,, a few other ///M parts now and since its LeMans blue ( one of 269 with the DCT) and 79K miles - its still pretty sweet - and did.I say it only weighs 3565 lbs?
S58 is the name of the engine. And thats the main reason why i ordered one B3 GT. This formidable engine (with 80 Nm more then the M3, better cooling and more reactive new turbos).
What about the giant absorbent pad attached to the lower plastic engine cover to prevent you from seeing the leaks before your warranty is up? Only buy a bmw if you can afford a new car every 2 or 3 years because you shouldn’t keep a bmw past 40k miles. It’s called euro trash for a reason.
