If I could Iive here, I would. I’m a surgical tech and I know I could work at the hospital. I was born and raised in the Rio grande valley. I’m close to the beach but I’ve never cared for it. I’d much prefer to live where there’s mountains/ hills. I always wanted to live in the hill country. But it’s too crowded now. I visited Alpine 5 years ago, loved it. My teens were not impressed though. I have no ties to Alpine unfortunately

Your town is very pretty lady back to over 4000ft in elevation.i like that .a good place to retire.

Does it rain there very often? How is the air quality?

I'm outside of San Antonio.....my dream is save money and retire in Alpine or some other West Texas town with mountains nearby.

My town is 6500people called Benton Illinois a old coal mine town.

I'm a city girl but would love to live in Brewster County Texas and I can't wait.
