I studied at the Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston in 1988 and 1994 and in both occasions I immensely enjoyed my stay at San Antonio. I fervently wish I could go back to Texas and explore the amazing places I haven't seen. Love from the Philippines.
Texas is a great state! The people are fun. Hospitable. Hardworking. Good people. Just stay away from the South of the border and you will be fine. I love Texas! ❤❤❤
I live 2 hours away from San Antonio. One of my favorite places to go to when I need a mini vacation. I love going to the Riverwalk especially during Christmas its so Beautiful.
Before i die i would like to visit Texas, one wish everyone should have, going to Texas. Just imagine how magical this land is. Greetings from Portugal
@@chopboxing6197 it is that special. Texas is the best place on Earth (for certain people.) and if u ain’t that certain people don’t come to Texas ya won’t like it
I've been living in Europe for 7 years! The main thing I miss is the big skies! The sunsets look photoshopped because they are so beautiful! The moon shines bigger and brighter. The stars against that dark sky is incredible. Europe has a lot of this and that but not like Texas! ❤

You do realize that (the world economic forum) has a globalist power company called-glacierpowersolutions Are they just buying up everything in Texas they even bought the Alamo and is converting the Alamo into a black history Museum. Oh and they also bought Matthew McConaughey and are having him run for office.
So much was left off this list. I am a native Texan and am still discovering wonderful, unique gems in my state. I currently live in Rockport which is on the Texas coast in the Coastal Bend area (think Corpus Christi). This place has so much history and many festivals which make it an amazing place to be. Another unique tour to do in Texas is a tour of the Painted Churches. These are unique pieces of Texas history and are located in or near communities that are worth a visit. The last thing I will mention is the Kolache Tour of Texas which is an homage to our Czech heritage. It is worth digging beyond the usual places always mentioned in videos of Texas.
There's like a trillion places to visit in Texas... thats why there's a whole show committed to it called the daytripper... it's been on forever and has never run out of places to see... it's remarkable how full Texas is of unique destinations...
I stayed for 8 months in Texas 20 yrs ago ! I like Texas very much ! I enjoyed the river walk on boat in the middle of SonAntonio City ! Festivals , Alemo Theater , carnivals Every Friday's afternoon until Sunday It's all Enjoyable & Funny in Texas Specially in SonAntonio ! Also in Houston, Austin & Else ! I Like Everything There ❤️❤️❤️✋️💪🏾✊️
The northern country! Most of my dad's family lives in Minnesota (originally from western Wisconsin.). They live in the Twin Cities area and Dorset/Park Rapid/Nevis area. I love Minnesota!Born and raise Native Texan.
@@Caderic ha same! Father is Minnesotan turned Texas lol. Came here young in the military to escape a drunk abusive father and never looked back. Doesn't go a day without saying "howdy" to his neighbors 🤣
@@ashtonjordan6417 hi, is it true that abduction or kidnaps mostly happens in texas and california? We're going to live in texas and it makes me scared so much. Sorry for my english
@@stoneqt1086 Yes that is true! Texas is very dangerous and you can easily be kidnapped or be abducted if you're a girl. If you still want to live and enjoy life with your family, you shouldnt go visit or live in texas and california. It is more safe here in canada!
aw thank u for explaining 😭 but I can't do anything about that. cause my dad bought our house in texas and we dont have a choice but to live in texas. I am so scared 🥺 but i think texas is very beautiful.
#11 Waco Visited 4 years ago. I lived in ne Pennsylvania for 8 years. This southern boy had to escape the brutal winters. Been here almost 3 years now. Smaller city but nice people. Come in spring or fall unless you like 100+ summers. Y’all come see us!
The bad wolf supposedly was the opening, the educated fish and then Galapagos island. I turned then to the Philippines most favorite 10 places but already opened so to the next windows, I now played..hopefully it will be okay after 8:30am, thanks to the advanced productions' costs.
From Philippines, filipina here. Living in Pennsylvania for the last 9years and I would love to move to texas, to escape long brutal winter, i started having "SAD" i hate winter so much
Thank goodness they didnt give away any of our secret spots! I was a little worried at first, but they just covered tourist attractions. Dont be tellin ppl where our good spots are. Thats reserved for Texans.
In the summer drive west. In the evening open the window and feel the cool evening air as the highway climbs up the Llano Estacada on to the Texas High Plains
New Braunfels is really nice and so is South Padre Island. Gruene is also an amazing spot for food and music. I would disagree with Houston being so high on the list. Other than the Woodlands, Houston is not a place I would visit. It's too hot and humid and traffic is horrendous. Dallas by far is my favorite city.
Multi generational Texan here. I think the Hill Country and surrounding towns with many rivers, springs, and caverns are the most beautiful. I tie the San Antonio area and the Texas Gulf Coast for the second most beautiful.
My grand grand father is from texas but he lived in algeria got married and died in algeria to his name: Georges craddle their kids ; Marc antoine and marie louise from first wife in usa Texas : Wellington. Please excuse my english
@@manuelruiz6140 hi. I was born in Dallas. Lots of fun times. You've got to go to Fort Worth too. I love Cowtown and it's history and culture. The food is incredible. The rodeo's are fantastic. Have a good weekend.
Hi , I am doing fine. Thank you for asking me . I love so much San Antonio. I have worked as an Project Engineer to San Antonio Water System. I did like what I did and I am so proud. Be blessed

San antonio Riverwalk is absolutely beautiful during December they have it decorated in beautiful Christmas light I know this because I have lived in san antonio my whole life
@@austinreed347 The second largest Canyon in the US is here (Palo Duro Canyon), there is a small zoo, lots of nice restaurants and local boutiques. You can still buy a new home fir $120k a mansion for $400k, one of the finest junior colleges in the country and a university 25 mikes south. Best thing is friendly people and hardly any traffic.
Just an FYI. The drive time to get from Plano to Big bend is over 10 hours. I'd recommend going to Port Aransas then check out big bend. South/mid Texas is way better to visit
AVOID SAN ANTONIO I WAS BORN AND RAISED TRUST ME! FCKN TRASHY CITY THEY ARE TRYING TO CATCH UP TO FCKN AUSTIN! 😂😂 BUT SAN ANTONIO IS 20-30 YEARS BEHIND!
Im living in Sweden and have a dream to go to Texas. Taste a brisket or a real ribeye steak and lots more. But I can dream on cause I wouldt come far Europe. So to you all texas cowboys you can be proud and eat for me!🤩😛
I'm disappointed Corpus Christi didn't get a mention. The beautiful City by the Sea. The Texas State Aquarium and the breathtaking Bay Front, plus USS Lexington, to mention a few things to see and do. Of course the beach too.
Me, too! Just by the name itself... Corpus Christi (Body of Christ), I believe we are in the right place! Been living in Corpus Christi (in the island) for 18 years and no regrets. Love our island paradise❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like how when they said "Dallas" then mentioned and showed more things in Arlington and other cities NOT Dallas. I'm surprised they even know the difference between Dallas and Ft. Worth.
@@eileenweidman9148 What do you expect. They don't know the difference between Dallas and Ft. Worth. After all, most of the stuff from "Dallas" was in Arlington...which is closer to Ft. Worth.
