@@TiminSE its a fucking shame this wasnt professionally recorded and posted at the time there The Kennedy center only posted a recording of one song...
Yesssss, they were. The guitarist was shredding like his life depended on it towards the end too. But the sax playing is like a secret, invisible gem for close listeners to discover lol.. Since you can't actually see them on stage anywhere as far as I could tell.
Yo the electric guitarist was killing it at 5:20, If included in the original song, pretty sure it would have taken it to a crescendo! This was fantastic.
Not gonna lie, this has gotta be my favourite performance of this song BY FAR. Whoever was on the sax absolutely killed it and the guitar at the end was INSANE
Damn. That was so fucking wild. Even though the video and sound quality isn't great here, still you can really feel the energy Kenny and the band must've been feeling on stage. I mean, just watch Kendrick's face and body language here, as well as the lead (only?) guitarist's and the keyboard player's. Kendrick is fucking beamin'. These dudes are all enjoying themselves so damn much like they know they're living through some once in a lifetime performance type of shit, and it's just so hype. So hype that even the conductor, who looks like the most straight-laced, nice guy, white boy ever, is fucking flailing his lil conductor sticky thingy like this is the highlight of his career, lolol.
I just dicover Kendrick Lamar in June 24.. I know nobody would believe me ( I m metal dude) . IT's same feeling like when I 've discovered Dr dre in 2001. I am like wtf. this guy is something.
This song this artist better be accepted in heaven because God blessed my ears with this song. This art is a statement and letter an amazing piece of sound TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY IS THE LP FOR 10 MORE DECADES!
Obsessed with this performance .... OMFGGGGGG!!!! The entire vibe has me rocking a Joker smile!! My soul feels like it traveled around the galaxy 💯❤ Thank you so much for sharing!! I have serious DEEP love for this man's music and I have a thing for Conductors!!! Straight bodily climax!! 🤣
Not sure if it's just this performance but Kendrick gives Childish Gambino energy in a very good way... I don't know what it is, it's some of his quirkier dance moves in this video with some other mannerisms I can't quite out into words
if you have anymore videos from this concert would you mind poeting them or sending them to me im doing a concert report for school and this is the only video with good quality
Ok, the performance means nothing..a band and an orchestra that sounds like a mike in front of an am radio. Lousy sound quality, not worth listening to.
