So Raw. Here Myles is no prettied up artist, he doesn't have cool backgrounds or light show. It's just him, in jeans & a t shirt, his hair a bit disheveled. Just a guy singing his heart out. The whole things feels so personal.
True, despite the fact, that Myles himself is a pretty human being. I mean, he has these blue eyes and long hair. (no homo btw) And to top that, his amazing voice. You have to love this guy.

Until the day after my Father's murder I had never heard of Myles Kennedy or Alter Bridge I had stumbled across the song " In Loving Memory" ! It helped me through the tough days afterward.

@@ItsameDrew Actually the reason for this is always something else entirely on these very old videos. Back in the early RU-vid days, the rating system was a 5 star system. When it was changed to the thumbs up/down system a rating of 4.5 stars for example received mainly a lot of thumbs up's, but also a small amount of thumbs down to reflect the video not having the perfect 5 star score. This would not necessarily reflect someone originally not liking the video. The person may simply feel this version to be 4/5 stars for example, because there may be another version of the same song by the same artist on a another day that was simply a tiny bit better (just as an example).
I listen to a lot of music. I've listened to a lot of music. But the pureness, the passion, the pain, and the beauty that Myles Kennedy could put into a song like this and turn a genius song into a masterpiece is... Truly. Breathtaking.

He is maybe the best singer out there today, but as a vocalist there are a couple out there that are a lot better then he is(by better I mainly refer to range)(the best vocalist out there would be Mike Patton or Kyo, they have the biggest range and they're fucking amazing)

Myles Kennedy is one of the best male vocalist on the scene, as he has a very flexible and versatile voice, which is why he can sing virtually all genres so well.
I'm late to the show but I thank the good Lord I found Myles and that God given voice! Inspirational, awesome & from the interviews I've seen, he is one heck of a human being! I'm very happy he hooked up with the guys from Creed! His talents can bring people of all different types and beliefs together, if only for a few hours!
Already addicted, I appreciate great artists like him, I consider myself a music connassuar, have even gotten into some amazing classical over the last year but I'm still hard rock/ metal to my core!
I must have played this video 1000 times by now and it's still breathtaking every single time. Without a shadow of a doubt my favorite rendition of Hallelujah done by one of my all time top artist. In this particular recording, Myles nailed it 100% perfectly... The emotion, the quiver in his voice... There are no words. I swear, by the time I'm old I'll have watched this 100,000 times and still be in awe. Myles is one of the top musicians of our time, were seeing his legacy come and go and I am one am grateful for that, as well as the pleasure of meeting the man on multiple occasions, memories I'll never forget. Incredible human being.

I've heard many people sing this song but none of them came even remotely close to Myles' version! In my opinion he is one of the greatest vocalists in the world! awesome range and the way he can change from soft to powerful and stay in key is amazing. I've heard very few vocalists who can make me feel every word with the emotion that he does! having My arms covered with goosebumps, and tears running down my face because I'm feeling every emotion he is portraying, is normalicy when he sings a song! maybe it's because he is a member of a kickers band who are possibly the greatest band in the world....ya that's it!
