when did these interviews happen? Stapp is the chief song writer of Creed. Listen to his solo album, the lyrical content is like Creed with a different band behind it. Alterbridge songs are so different compared to the Creed songs. I guess you don't listen to Creed that much. how in the blue hell was stapp the chief SONG writer in creed when mark wrote the music? a song is not just words. considering mark wrote the music and some of the lyrics, I'd say that'd make mark the chief SONG writer and stapp the chief LYRICIST.

Buddy, I guess you didn't know Creed/Scott Stapp/Mark Tremonti that long enough..FYI, Scott Stapp WROTE most of the lyrics on EVERY Creed song. That's why they were even labeled as Christian rockers, because of his upbringing, his father was breatheren, whenever he makes mistakes when he was young, he'd be asked to read the Bible.. Mark tremonti makes most of the music, but Stapp is the chief song writer in Creed, Buddy. Tremonti only wrote all of the lyrics of the album One Day Remains..FYI.

I do not hope that Creed gets back together because Scott was a complete loser. I love Alter Bridge and have loved them since they came out. I do have to agree with a couple of recent posters. Shinedown is my favorite band of all time just because Brent Smith just cannot be beaten in the vocals category. Myles is right up next to him though as my second favorite vocalist and you can never put down Myles' and Mark's guitar playing. They are just amazing together.

without Scott Stapp, there's no Alterbridge..that's the bottom line. so you still have to thank Scott Stapp one way or another. His solo album went double platinum..None of the Alterbridge albums went platinum. Now Creed is back to kick all of your asses. Wake up, smell the thorns.

Creed is back, and as what Flip said, they plan to reunite for good..so Alterbridge could be left behind..so sorry. I like Alterbridge songs, I'm also a fan, I just don't like Myles' voice..It get's annoying when you listen to much of it. He's boring.he's obviously a Plant fan.
