Man every one of these videos are so well put together! this is the kind of work that I strive to do on any type of project and watching the care you guys take on peoples vehicles makes me want to keep watching...... Details matter!
Word's can't say enough about what it is you are doing is SO RIGHT!!! I wish everyone does this when building a Honda. You should make a movie about this build cause I love watching every minute of it and I can't wait for the next one 😍😍😍😍👍👍
John, your videos are such an inspiration! It's easy to get in the mode of overlooking small things or saying "ehhh screw it.." but then your videos always make me want to strive for perfection and pay attention to every last detail. Keep it up!
@@LHTPerformance yeah for sure let me know. I'm always curious to know things like this. It's nostalgic and cool to see the same tech used across both platforms. Once we switched to a inconel alloy it increased the lifespan of our exhaust components.
Forget the paint code... “I always like to put the belt numbers facing out” : proceeds to put timing belt on backwards : Thanks for the Easter egg John! 😋
LHTPerformance I’m probably more OCD than you, john! Love the channel. Been into Honda’s 15+ years and I’ve always loved your contributions to the honda and s2000 communities! Glad to see the NSX go to fund other builds too, it will be better for you and the company in the long term, hope for nothing but the best though. ~Chris
Lots of great information and recommendations in this video. 👍👍👍 one can almost build there own B series at home watching ur videos lol. I also think its pretty crazy u rev'ed ur integra to 10-11k rpms😱😱🥇🥇👍
@@LHTPerformance I just don't hear of people rev'ing the Hondas /Acuras that high. So it's just crazy to me keep up the good work. I have used a few of the tips u have thrown out there on my 8th gen civic. Learned alot and learn more every time u post a vid
I see you put the ARP studs in. Some people say to torque to 10 in. lbs, other says 'hand tight' I imagine when they say hand tight, they literally mean using your hand only and bottoming the stud out in the bore, correct? It mentions using ONLY the lube that ARP has in the box. Is that something you adhere to also?
Check out the greddy EF! I feel like that's the philosophy you're following on this build. Nice and clean, 300ish usable hp. He's also using his AC system to cool the air charge. Pretty neat stuff and all nicely done like LHT!
itsjussjerry I built an AC chiller for my Supercharger intercooler back in 1998. My cold AC is more important to blow on me rather than the extra 10 whp it’s good for. 👍🏻
Thanks for keeping the videos coming!! Hope this comment helps motivate you for the day you are thinking “ I don’t want to film this , I just want to get it done!” Keep filming man!
StillSoundAmazing It does buddy. I often feed off the follows. When the trolls start I think ‘ Why am I sharing this and taking the time to shows tricks I’ve learnt ‘. Then the nice comments motivate me 👍🏻. Thanks buddy.
@LHTPerformance Which scotch brite pad are you using? I'm from Asia and will try to look for something similar. Thanks for the golden tips, love your attention to detail
After the bolts are sorted out on the trans, you will need to nickel-plate everything, for a super-sano OCD finishing touch! With a final polish, of course.
Lol I feel like if the paint code wasn't boxed. It would have flown under the radar. It caught my attention as it popped out of nowhere. That paint code could have been for any other car lol
You got sloppy sir! LOLOL. NH584M Pewter Gray Metallic. That will look good as the paint on the car!!!! You edited the paint code 'uh-oh' from the dry erase board just a hair too late. A few moments with Dr. Google and that paint code and voila'!
I have 2 bad experience using rebuild alternator tho, sorry to say.. Those two alt came from respectable shop In opinion. Alternator is one of those thing that we need to always brand spanking new and OEM
i tihnk im gonna have to get me one of those turbo drain flanges dont wanna blow the seals on my freshly rebuilt holset hy35 thats going on my b20b crx
I have a brand new in bag OEM discontinued PIPE B, CONNECTING 19504-P72-010 that you can have for free but you will probably have no use for it with an aftermarket intake manifold.
@@LHTPerformance 15:05 that's what I said yeah, i got Dorman parts for my Honda twice because that's what was available at the time, they didn't even fit properly and could tell they were sub standard. Waited for Honda parts
