I mean, Eridan half-killed Sollux, so she was just taking it upon herself to resolve the conflict. She often mediates between other trolls. That's her thing, conflict resolution.
S g Reviving the race of the Trolls has more to do with her being a Hero of Space than being a Sylph, since the aspect of Space has to do with creation.
People always seem to forget the fact that Kanaya held hardcore grudges and that she had some pretty crazy morals, considering she ripped an egg out of her mother.
SolidAir02 Agreed. Kanaya clearly showcases more control than most of the other trolls, but she's still a troll, and able to act just as impulsively as the rest of them when it slips. She failed at being an auspistice to Tavros and Vriska precisely because she couldn't manage through her own feelings and emotions. Even this theme, which gives off a general impression of calm and distinction, is disquieting in places. And while Kanaya is a Space player (an Aspect supposedly related to life, creation, and situating things in the general picture), she still isn't a fully realized one. She's even the one to tell Karkat, in one of his memos, that the classpects are assigned to them as a challenge, in order to bring out the players' _possibilities_. (Also, Strife Specibus: makeupkind, which is a Lipstick-slash-Chainsaw, i.e. an object both creative and incredibly brutal. Funnily enough, it has a precursor in the Chainsaw/Lipstick in _Problem Sleuth_, used by Nervous Broad and primarily Hysterical Dame... a classy lady prone to destructive special moves once her Hysteria gauge is maxed out. Make of that what you wish in conjunction to Kanaya. :D)
+MrsHalloweenJack Kanaya's pretty chill even compared to most humans. I don't remember her flipping out in any situation that would be weird to flip put in.
Because she was the jadeblood, Kanaya had to take the matriorb from her lusus to continue her species. She was doing what was required of her. Also, her lusus was already dead anyway.
Out of all of them, Kanaya scares me the most. Not because I'm a Aquarius. Because Kanaya, is probably the biggest threat. She is elegant and beautiful, she knows how to help, and does. She is just like a kind mother. But, she is also a person unafraid. She can run into 3 higher bloods who are about to strife, two of which are crazy, and beat them all, hands down. She is unafraid to get her hands dirty, if she finds something that must be done, like Tarvos. She is probably the most threatening.
I honestly think this suits Kanaya perfectly. Even though there aren't any chainsaws in the background, she loved the out doors and being in the sunlight. This song makes me think she's outside gardening. It's just a really relaxing song which I just love.
When she first appeared I had a bad feeling about her because she was the only one without an obvious zodiac theme and yeah, kind of stuck up. But later, her role in the plot really made her likeable. She is a genuinely caring friend who readily takes the responsibility she has been given. Her mistakes don't make her less likeable, and her problems are realistic as well as relevant to the plot, if tragically so.
+carso1500 Yep. Heard Undertale was good, played it, loved it, loved the music, found out Toby had done several version of Megalovania including one for Homestuck, started listening to Homestuck music, realized I'd never gotten around to reading Homestuck, read Homestuck, now I'm here.
+DragonaxFilms say that toby is like sans, he only do like 20 or 30 NEW songs and the rest of the 70 are remixes of that songs and then megalomanía, that I think I dont have to explain
+DragonaxFilms of course, toby is a dog that created a game from sit on a computer, no one is greater than him (if you play undertale you sólo get the reference)
Spoilers, bruv Clearly the worst unintended side effect of John retconning Vriska back into the timeline is that Kanaya never got to drink all that awesome trolls blood that Gamzee collected. Damn shame.
I cannot express how much I love this song. It's so calm and relaxing it makes me feel like i've ascended to heaven. I could listen to this with my eyes closed and i'd be in a whole new dimension.
Nepeta isn't always loving. She kills for food, hunts, and gets pissy at points. She is caring, but can also be angered easily. And same with kanaya. She does have good nature, but during some acts Kanaya was a bit raged and moody. She also has/had that moody feelings to gamzee, thus leading to swack his crotch and break amporas wwand.
You know, hearing this play while examining items in Kanaya: Return to the Core gives a really strong melancholy feeling. Definitely a favourite track, I immediately went looking for this once I heard it.
Had my hs “phase” since I was 12 to probably age 15. Always loved the music but never knew why. When undertale came out I played it. Heard this song and never realized until now Toby Fox (undertale dude if anyone’s confused!) made it. Wowie.
I Love Kanaya! Ironically, The Way I Type Isn't Even In Imitation Of Her, It's Part Of An Inside Joke. But Anyway, I Love This Theme So Much! I'm Also A Sylph Of Space.
Kanaya=Sweet Darling Who Won’t Hurt Anyone, Also A Fashionista Kanaya BEASTMODE=A VIOLENT TROLL WHO WILL KILL ANYONE IN SIGHT! Kanaya RAINBOW DRINKER!= *so daenger*
If you're willing to factor in planets and houses and whether you're born on the first or last day of a sign, and all that other similarly complex stuff, then your sign is unique, but you're still a member of a single sign. Being born on the day when one sign starts and the other begins doesn't make you both signs, no matter how close you're born to the end.
