Opening day of Mardi Gras at Alton Towers has returned for a third year in 2023! We had such an incredible day in the sunshine, probably the best day we’ve ever had at Alton Towers.
See what entertainment is on offer! See what food is available on Food Street with lots of new food vs last year. Has the King Cake made a return? 😋

Thanks for sharing this with us, we was there too, it was our 1st ever Mardi Gras event ever 🤭 we had a fun time, we did see you but was too shy to say Hello 🤭😳😬 we did come to the Table you were sat at to speak with the Hush Hush Family 😆 we missed the opening show & closing show as we took my Daughter & she just wanted to get on all the rides 🤪 after watching this I think I need to go back to just concentrate on the Mardi Gras stuff 🤣 Hope your both keeping well & having a nice week, perhaps next time we see you we will be a little Braver 🤣😆 Take Care ❤️xx

Great vlog guys, I agree with you at 13:37, that actor is superb; he's also played the monk in Oktoberfest and is the guy in the intro video to the Trick or Treat Town scare maze. He really does an exceptional job! Have you done the fireworks before in November?

WOW! You had a fab day - which is great. It was a shame about the less interaction of the crews, that was such a fab part of it last time. I wonder why they didn't do that? also, shame about not being able to see properly due to people traffic - different to last time. You still had a blast though- which is the whole point of going isnt it - I would love it xxxxx
