Join us as we head to Alton Towers to check out their 2022 Mardi Gras event! In this vlog we experience everything that this awesome event has to offer, including fantastic entertainment and new food options. We share footage from all of the different Mardi Gras krewes around the park, along with highlights from the awesome parade and end of the day show on Towers Street. Along with that we check out the new additions to the event for this year and capture the awesome atmosphere with plenty of dancing!

This has got to be one of the nicest & most entertaining vlogs i have ever seen on RU-vid in many years of watching Theme Park Worldwide. Mardi Gras at Alton Towers looks amazing.👏 😍 Some great dancing moves from Charlotte as well. And an actual genuine parade at Alton Towers as well. I have never seen that before, and i have visited this theme park many many times over many years. I love it.

wow an amazing vlog from an amazing event at Alton Towers! After years of barely any entertainment at the park, it is beyond wonderful to have events like this now. and it must have been the first parade at the park since Henry Hound's parade ended in 1993! I'm not surprised you guys were emotional! I live a long way away so usually only manage to visit once a year, this time we have booked for Octoberfest, but i'd love to go to Mardi Gras again as we went last year and it was fantastic. love all the dancing in the vlog as well! Go Charlotte! :D

Did you know that most of the soundtracks the krewes used for their performances are actually traditional jazz songs from New Orleans? Alton Towers knew exactly what they were doing!! HAPPY MARDI GRAS Shawn and Charlotte, Wow I was not expecting this TOP notch full on 1 days worth of pure lush entertainment with every individual talented entertainers amazing performances, they were incredible especially the heavy themed colourful costumes were spectacular most definately worth every penny well spent including the different food options I’m glad theyve reduced the prices fitting in with the restaurants, your cakes looked super yummy 😋mmm! You both have got some real proper awesome dance moves but your too good for strictly come dancing. Great vlog glad you enjoyed yourselves

Loved the event and great seeing you guys. Only real gripes were the lack of advertising of the parade, the location of the Forbidden Valley crewe, no crowded with rocks and blocking the main way to Nemesis. Lived the costumes and atmosphere though!

Went to Alton for the first time on thursday, massive upgrade from my local flamingo land but sadly oblivion and the smiler were closed for most of the day due to high winds.

I think they need more advertisement for the parade because if the park is open later people might go home not knowing there's a parade which is bad because its a big parade and bigger than thope parks I'm definitely hyped to see what chessingtons mardi GRAA is like!!!!!

We were there yesterday when you were there. We were trying to find you as we were in the smiler que when you were in x-sector. So sad because everytime you were one side of the park we seemed to be at the other 😂. Keep up the good work !

My more memorable experiences at Amusement Parks is when the sun goes down. At night the rides feel faster the park just has a more exciting and party like atmosphere to it. If these parks are having low attendance issues they should look at opening up mid afternoon and closing later so to give the paying patreons the night experience :)
