Great video so far (I''m halfway through). I met John Wardley at the 10 year anniversary event for Nemesis. That was an amazing day/night. There was a Q&A session with him in hotel was absolutely brilliant and he's a bloody lovely bloke who loves what he does. I can't believe it was 20 years ago!

So many memories of Alton Towers as a kid I'm 40 now and get still go maybe once a year take me own kids. i remember thunder looper but never went on it. As much as i love Nemesis i don't think i could stomach those queues its absolutely insane, last time i went we nearly walked straight on it. Smiler is a brilliant ride as well. I do agree about the entrance of Alton Towers is such a good experience you just know your somewhere very cool from the moment you walk in.

I never go on the rides but i LOVE going with the family and watching the fun, but my favourite place is Blackpool Pleasure beach, many memories made there

Hello Darren so last night me and my wife caught your latest video upload about Alton Towers railway (I had no idea that was a attraction, but then before 2019 we only done 1 theme/amusement park once a year) I must say 2019 both yourself and me started our RU-vid channels and you have done extremely well with 50k subscriber's ( I think both you and digital Dan do amazingly well with video content, and it shows with subscriber's and view's) once I get enough money saved I will join your membership but next week we have to take our cat too the vet's anyway I've subscribed to your channel Adventure Me

Last time i went there was a primary school trip in the 80s...big queues everywhere especially for the corkscrew..the log flume was brill..i am 51 now so a bit long in the tooth for these rides now..thank you darren an excellent video as usual.

I got recognised at Alton towers too ! in 2004 I was on a dating TV show on bbc3/2 and while on the Imperial leather bath tube ride I was recognised several times ....hahaha

The ops cabin for Blade is actually the Thunder Loopers, also the station platform is the same but just been shortened.

Alton Towers! Proper field of dreams stuff as a kid. And Nemesis was the first ever rollercoaster I went on (other than Blackpool's Grand National and Big Dipper of course). What a thrill! Will try and get tot he park this year! I always found Air a bit dull. I guess it got the desired effect to feel floaty, but I like the sense of danger a more rumbling and even rickety ride takes you on!

Last season opening day me and my mate came out the back of those toilets and outside we bumped into none other than John Wardley who was having a moment away from the crowds gathered for Curse!!! What an amazing moment to be able to just have a chat with him. Best day at AT ever 😀

I was 20 qhen og nemesis arrived. I felt so old on Monday but least i can say i rode nemesis reborn x 4 at 50😂. Yesterday it was closed most of the day. Ivwent on the curse 1st time...i thought ut was dismal😂do you remember the alpine bobsleigh in the 80s?? As always, fab vlog!

I haven’t been to Alton towers since Air opened. Nemesis was the first coaster I ever went on too. Is the Red River back on the new design? I couldn’t see it :( I really need to organise another visit.
