Coaster Spotlight there’s no plans for that at all, there was plans to extend forbidden valley area into the overflow car park but not to remove the sub terra building
Fun fact about Hex: The Chained Oak is a real thing, based on a local tale, and is still around to this day near Alton. Can't remember which road it's on, but you can easily go past it on your way in/out of Alton Towers

I went on Nemesis for the first time at scarefest 2018. It was my first upside down rollercoaster. Needless to say I’ve been an adrenaline junkie ever since.

Nemesis Sub-terra has been turned into a walk through attraction for scarefest and it’s great fun, it’s weird to walk through the ride without it in operation but the theming is incredible, it’s all ‘lab experiment gone wrong’ themed :)
Seen on Twitter you won one of the meme your scream competitions. Must be well pleased. Was at the park yesterday and had perfect weather and timed every ride perfectly, and despite being busy got on every ride and some multiple times.
Thrope Park is alot better more coasters. operations are ok and the rides are pretty smooth expect colossus just stay away from that had a headache and I threw up in a bin after it. And you don't have to walk 20mins every time you wanna go to a coaster. But it is a solid 4hr drive but worth it.
Tip: To avoid queue times, start off at Forbidden Valley, then make your way over to Dark Forest, then X-Sector. Finally, end off at Spinball Whizzer and Wicker Man. If you want to do anything else again at the end of the day, go In a queue line right before it closes. This is because that they shut the rides when everyone is off the queue line. So you could theoretically get another ride of your choice after Alton Towers closes.
I went to Alton towers for the first time 3 weeks ago and I was so nervous but excited and honestly had the best time!! I loved the smiler and galactica!!
Also side note: you said the queue time for the smiler was 80 mins which you said was long... when I went the queue time got up to 150 mins... luckily when me and my friends went on it, the queue time said 100 mins but we were only waiting for like an hour which was so good considering how busy it was that day!
Is it just me or here: Thirteen is supposed to be for Friday, we all know that. But the year the smiler opened was 2013. 13. On Friday the 13th 2010, the ride was changed to fourteen to give people a safe feeling. The smiler has FOURTEEEN INVERSIONS. They could’ve changed to twelfth, so don’t say there is another option. The smiler and thirteen are both kind of connected, due to both being “scary”. The smilers hypnotizing and loops and logo all are scary. While the adverts for thirteen were scary. I feel like these rides are connected, but I don’t live near Alton Towers, so no idea. :)

I’m really scared of rollercoasters and get super nervous. I’m going Alton towers with my family for 3 days in a week and I’m scared as they said I need to go on atleast 5 rides and I’ve only been on th13teen, Galactica and spinball whizzer. I’m too scared to go on anything else. Can anyone give me advice or tell me what the other rides are like.

I think I might try and be a brave soul and conquer oblivion this year too. I feel so unsafe on rides tho bc I’m so small. My shoulders come up to barely half way. I’m 19 and am JUST ABOUT tall enough to get on Nemesis. RIP me
I have a great story about Alton Towers So it was my first time going to the park and I was having fun going on the rides and looking around. We stopped to have lunch at the chicken place in x sector. we had lunch and went on enterprise. Now I don't really get motion sickness or anything but my god enterprise must have done some weird stuff to my stomach because after we got off and started waiting in line for thirteen I puked my guts out. now if you are waiting in line for thirteen just before you go into the steps before the covered area look for a white mark where Alton Towers cleaned up my sick.This whole experience happened only 2 weeks ago.
