SO wanted to have those Mont Blancs work for me but the slippage on the heel, the too-short tongue, and the strange toebox fit just didn't do it for me. Sent 'em back. Loving the new Timp4s so far. Good comparison, Sam...

I'm liking the outroad 2 if you have a thinner foot, and go a half size up in it, I also have the Temp 4, and like it to!

Great review. I just find the Timp ugly and the Mont Blanc beautiful. Also an important consideration.

Which amng these 2 is similar to torin 5 in terms of softness?

Sorry have not tested Torin 5. It also has EGO Max foam but as I found there may be differences in flavors of this foam. The Mont Blanc I find more energetic and more cushioned than Timp 4
