While the clutch on KTM and Husqvarna dirt bikes are well designed for casual riding, technical off road riding with heavy clutch work can quickly fatigue a rider's hand and forearm, leading to a long uncomfortable ride. Designed to reduce clutch pull, which reduces hand fatigue, and increase the feel of the clutch; the Altrider Clutch Lever replaces the OEM clutch lever with an adjustable clutch lever. The lever is made from machined 6061 aluminum, includes all stainless steel hardware and is finished in an anodized black with laser etched AltRider logos. With the Altrider Clutch Lever the clutch pull can be set from stock up to a 45% reduction in pull effort, giving you options for the best clutch feel for the rider.

Safe to use with 9mm master?

It works ideally with the 10mm. Although it will work with 9mm, the ability to make the adjustments isn't quite as ideal

My clutch won’t fully disengage. Even if the lever is all the way out

The MAC lever re-creates the OEM levers stroke. In fact, the MAC lever has a larger stroke then OEM. If the lever is adjusted all the way out the likely culprit is air in the line (even a small amount) that is keeping you from being able to compress the springs and let the clutch plates spin. One of the challenges with a hydraulic system versus cable is the fact that you cannot see the air in the system. All hydraulic systems, especially on dirt bike systems are susceptible to air in the system. Hm okay I’ll give it a try, it is about time to bleed them. thanks for the quick response! Side note, why does the stock clutch lever work fine then?

One variable to be aware of is temperature. A cold engine vs a hot engine changes the clutch plates and therefore the stroke required to disengage the clutch.

I went back and forth with alt rider and stock lever, ambient and engine temp were the same. Also I bled the system and no change. Maybe I need to flush it? I also inspected the clutch plates and basket and they look brand new, no grooves or anything bad.
