Last Goodbye is so great. I said my own last Goodbye to my grandmother. This song feels a lot like it at 4:25. At that moment, it's happened...the separation, the sadness. Anyway, this song reminds me of a very sad time in my life. Altus, your music is great. I'm going to listen to your new release today. Thanks for giving us music.

Sitting on my front porch and watching the wild birds eating sunflower seeds and I'm gazing at some white clouds drifting across the blue sky..oh and that bright sun..this music is reminding me to be thankful for all these treasures.

This is one of my favorite albums by you. I love the whole album, but slingshot really stands out. I love that style where there is multiple arpeggiated sounds going on with pads underneath

Another great work! Tracks 2 and 3 remind me much of the best days of Tangerine Dream, their albums Ricochet and Force Majeur. And a touch of Vangelis in Track 4... Beautiful!

Amazing :)

This one really is an epic and without a hint of pomposity to it. The acoustic piano humanizes it beautifully. I haven’t heard a single Altus album I haven’t enjoyed but this one deserves special mention. If people even use the term ‘new age’ anymore, if this is what they’re referring to then I’m a convinced fan. If I’ve had a lousy day I always know Altus restores my mood and equilibrium. It’s astonishing to me that he’s not on a major label and filling concert halls. Personally I’ll take this over Jean Michel Jarre or Vangelis anytime because it has the grandeur but also the humanity so often lacking in this sort of music.

This sounds a bit like Vangelis. A bit of Bladerunner and The Bounty.

Oh ok ! I think what had me confused was an evidently false memory of seeing that same logo/imprint at the beginning of videos by other ambient artists. I don't know if you recall it but Kim Cascone (I believe) founded a record company called Silent. It was extremely useful because as far as I knew ambient was finished once Eno released 'Apollo '. In view of what was to come I had proven myself the least reliable prophet around.

I discovered your music recently when this album was recommended to me on Spotify. 'Slingshot' is definitely my favorite track here. I'm the biggest fan of electronic music that creates a beautiful, grand-scale outer-space atmosphere, and this album, especially 'Slingshot', definitely evokes that vibe. I also saw your response to someone else here whose favorite track was 'Slingshot', and I really like how you gave links for similar music as well as music that inspired that track; that tells me that you're very passionate about music. Here's one of my favorite (and super underrated) Space Electronica songs.
