Since the 11lb propane tanks are not typically the size we can just exchange at convenience and hardware stores around here, do they make a mount for the 15lb size?
We have seen a customer with the standard 20lb tanks mounted to the rear, but were not sure where he found the mount for it. Its also the size of the larger propane tank off the rear of the vehicle that can be an issue.
I have a x1. Aulucab was not making the full size campers. How much does the base one weigh for a ford 5.5 box? Are there pick points to remove it? What spring package did you use on the ford? Thanks Bill
The Base AluCabin weighs around 500lbs. We do not offer jack mounts to remove the camper, as its not intended to be removed off the vehicle often. For rear suspension upgrades, at a minimum we recommend an air bag upgrade to help level the vehicle. Please let us know if we can hop on a call to discuss this as well!
Yes, technically you can turn it the other way. However, you have to mount the door up side down and the handle will be on the top side of the door rather than the bottom.
