Cool, laid back review. The Encloze looks awesome. Agree on the uniqueness. If you go to Asia, all you see at the airports are Rimowa. I would definitely strike up a conversation with you about the case if I saw you with it in an airport. Personally I only use aluminum (Tumi 19) for carry-ons and use polycarbonate (B&R Sympatico or Tumi 19) for checked bags, because I've had the aluminum cases crack on me on a trip due to rough baggage handlers.

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment! I love the uniqueness of the Tumi 19s shell, if I have to do it again it would be that (hopefully I won't need to for a long time). Can I ask where your checked aluminum cracked? I can see how it would happen with bigger, heavier luggage and an aluminum shell.

@@jdogggie4452 It was a Rimowa. It cracked on on of the top edges. Not the corner with the protective piece, but on the edge where the panel is folded at 90 degrees. There was an opening straight through the crack.

I don't think that's a cool petina. I actually find it ugly and that's why I'm not getting a full aluminium luggage.
