Ive been in the collision field for 35 years now. This is how more repairs are done today- both on steel as well as aluminum. You did a great job in explaining every part of the process, as well as a perfect job on the truck! Just subscribed!
Thank you for the free PDR tutorial. Your sharp tip was exactly what you needed for that Aluminum ding. A blade would of took forever. That is a very wide tipped tap down. Good choice for that aluminum. You are definitely a PDR PRO! You gave us a lot for free today. Wow!. Job came out nice too. I would love a video of you fixing a ding in the middle of a hood with threaded PDR tips. Practice panel would be perfect. Again, thank you for your generosity.
I have 3000 nibbling blocks and if you sand with the 3000 well after the 2000 it will give you just a dull finish which will come out with finishing polish. You can even go higher like 4000 or 5000 even and very little polish needed afterwards. I find the extra sanding blocks easier than polishing. Just my preference
Beautiful work and result on a dent that as you mentioned from the beginning in a tough spot as well as being just in front of an interior brace. Thank you.
Thank you for your great videos it really help me how to become a better tech I’m training and watching videos and your videos are awesome thank you brother keep the great work 👍🏽✊🏽
I have a 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 hd crew cab with not as sharp or severe of a dent in the center mid portion of my rear passenger crew cab door. Can a guy remove the door panel and directly access the outer skin to pop the dent through that would you know by chance?
Another great video Dennis! Learned so much from you already. Would love a chance to meet up at some point maybe even shadow? I’m in Holly Springs. If you are up for that just let me know to connect.
Aloha, I have a 2022 F150 Lightning. Some how I got a pretty nice crease (paint is not scratch) on the bottom part of passenger door (someone hit the truck while parked). What should I expect to pay for job like this? Unfortunately I am in Hawaii so not too many options. Thanks
Hello, I can’t give you an estimate on damage without seeing it however, damage to something similar in this video you can expect to pay depending on many factors $170-$500.
$150 is what the repair cost for the customer. You charge what ever your market demands and what you feel the repair is worth. At this moment this is what I charged. I’ve charged much more and less for Similar damage.
Looks good what you r truck? Usually aluminum is difficult stuff to work? What is the name of the light with the stand ? I'm thinking of getting one for mobile never have enough light with the mobile light
38” light. Had it 3 years. It’s a great light but the stand sucks! A-1 Tools also has a great LED light for a low price. I use it regularly as well. Mine came with an I-touch dimmer that I just stopped using. www.pdrtool.com/products/led-38-m-ls
