The scene, the acting, the song...its just -- don't know what to say!! The way the blood stains, the curtain rings, broken glass all tell him the kind of pain she endured before the sweet release of death. And to know he was indirectly a reason for this happening. He asks for forgiveness as he says ALVIDA!! Hats of to the entire team on this! Wish such good quality work got more appreciation.

the visuals are so freakin dark..and yet they perfectly blend in and balance out the emotion...never making it look over the top or melodramatic..! Avant Garde.!!

***Spoiler*** Symobolism at a whole new level ! A great video showing an intelligence officer reconstituting the truth based on evidences of the incident (blood stains, curtain rings, staircase, bed, mirror), all by himself, helplessly. An undeniable nature of time - its gone, and he stands still losing control over his emotions while watching his crystal clear reconstruction. Looking into the mirror, he sees himself (as a traitor with Shruti's blood stains on his dress) gone with Shruti's ruin, as if he was survived all by her. Without any name, evidence or photos of Arjun (deleted by Arjun secretly), Shruti blindly extends her trust in his arrival by slitting her wrist before engaging with anyone else.(?) Though the reason of all her sufferings was sadly he himself ! Which brings tears to his eyes as he holds her wrist, symbolizing the recognition of the sacrifice. Moreover, this all was going to be just his experience, a tale that would go to none other ear. And finally the line which says "a lot" in this context - 'Umr bhar ka saath de jo, kyu wahiii pyaar ho? Kyu na mit ke, jo fanaa ho, wo bhii pyaar ho?'

Listening to this again now... The video itself kind of played the whole movie in my head which is so heartbreaking. I absolutely loved the movie and the actors. The acting was so on point. And this song just wrecks me. Shruti Haasan's acting, singing, everything is amazing. And Arjun Rampal was so great in it. Especially the scenes of this song is where he left the biggest impact along with Shruti Haasan. This movie and song both are so underrated. Shruti Haasan and Arjun Rampal both don't get the credit they deserve and not only for this movie
