Much like Dark Chest of Wonders, both designed as kick ass up beat openers. This song was called Dark Chest of Wonders 2 when it was in demo stage, I've read. :)

That’s how you open a show!!!!! They are all so talented and so tight when they play a show. It’s crazy. Kai is like a human metronome which is probably why easier to stay so tight (Jukka was same that way). That harmony at end with Floor and Marko is one of my favorites of all of their singing together. 🤘

I was there - we went from zero to lightspeed in seconds. What an opener - there is nothing like Nightwish concerts - never alike, never predictive - but always completely awesome and mind blowing. Great reaction from you - and this album is a masterpiece and a roller coaster of emotions - believe me👍🤘🤘

Hi Rokcy.I understand you when you tell about to not open it yet.I just got my,after 40 years of dreaming and waiting for the moment,my new Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar.I opened it.The sweet smell of the new guitar just came over me.I just have to look at it for a moment ,before I even can think to plug it to my system here.In Finland we have allways christmas! Hi and thank you so much for reacting this bombastic show opener from Wembley. The Crowd literally woke up. Btw, if you are interested in seing, how Tuomas works and creates his mindblowing music and how all band members work close together, there is a very interesting documenary, how this Album ”Endless Forms Most Beautiful” was done. In 2014, the band released a 20-part series ( each episode from 2 to 7 min long) of the stages making this album, showing the band's journey in this process. I think you might find it interesting. And btw on this Album Kai Hahto replaced the band's drummer Jukka Nevalainen, who announced in August 2014 that he would step aside from Nightwish's drummer due to occasional severe insomnia. This was also the first Album with Floor Jansen, who joined the band in 2013. 'We are voyagers' - a reference to Tuomas' 3rd influencer: Carl Sagan ('Cosmos' & Voyager spacecraft) along with 'stuff of stars' in GSOE. Dawkins gets a walk on part and Sagan a song in his honour. The works of Darwin, Dawkins and Sagan are revisited on Human Nature (Procession, Tribal and Ad Astra (Pale Blue Dot)).

Rocky, don't miss the live version of the title track from Tampere. An extraordinary song, so ridiculously catchy and crammed full of hooks that it should have been a universal number one hit.

You are gonna love this album. It all culminates with "The Greatest Show on Earth" which sums up the whole concept with 24-minutes journey across the history of our planet. I suggest Tampere version for that one, although Wembley is great as well, and includes an special guest in the end.

amazing when you think about it. all the songs from those albums that NW performed at Wacken '13. Floor was singing songs originally written for, and performed by, 2 different people. doesn't sound like it for a moment, does it? Now, you're into the Floor era. this was the first time at Wembley for NW.

Interesting story about chocolate, not gorging in to it or the albums. I recognized myself since I can save some for later, even Nightwish masterpiece "Greatest Show on Earth", never saw it on purpose (just to have something "big" to look forward to) and that's from a fan that started NW journey in 2002. I want to see how much willpower it takes to endure that "quest".

I hate to those words "I have the lyrics pulled up right here".. That almost always means the reactors attention is going to be drawn away from the video of the performance trying read the lyrics from a different screen..

Agreed. I had a lengthy post about it, but I decided to cancel the comment. Nightwish is an audio/video/lyrical/emotional expression of art, if you look away you miss many things that can make the performance special. Oh well, it's his channel. As a viewer though, it is distracting to watch him avert his eyes. I'm happy for him though, it's great to see someone this invested into Nightwish where they appreciate the lyrics.
