Hi Steven, love your passionate reactions! Keep it up. Tuomas is the keyboard-player and he writes almost all of Nightwish’s songs. The bass-player Marko is the one that sings together with Floor. I love his voice too. If you want to hear him sing lead, listen to Kiss while your lips are stil red (with Floor as backing-vocal) and the Islander. Enjoy 😉

There is something about this performance and this song, which fill me with joy and positivity. I can hear them smile when performing this music !

You voice my feelings very well when listening to this song, especially this live performance. It's so powerful and heavy and yet also very upbeat and almost happy. I think it's the contract between Marko and Floor that does that. I'm also glad for your shoutout to Kai (the Drummer), I think the constant drumbeat carries the entire performance in this song. And yes, that solo is one of Nightwish's most epic solo's. They don't usually do them like this, but I wish they did. Great reaction.

Bass player and male vocalist is Marko Hietala and he has had quite a career himself. He has some solo albums and was the front man/vocalist of the metal band Tarot.

What an amazing way to open a concert. This recording really gives the vibe of ”We are one of the best live bands in the world and we know it. And oh, by the way, we f***ng love doing this for a living, too.”

did you noticed the added auto drumtrack ? it sounds like a speed up closed high hat, watch the drummers hands and you will see and hear it, it gives this song a kind of fast train feeling.............

Marco taking part of the vocal duties works so well because Marco is a great frontman in his own right. Have you checked out his band Tarot with him doing lead vocals and his brother on guitar? Check out their song '"Wings of Darkness" and PLEASE do the version from the 80s first for a 20 year old Marco and then the remake of 2011. It's hilarious and great at the same time :)

Enjoy your Nightwish expedition, ther is so much more to go. For me, Nightwish is one of the few bands that do genius shows and awesome songs. I just love almost all songs, way too much to find fafourite songs. For your next video I would recommend some uplifting songs like "I want my tears back" live from buenos Aires 2018 and for the sad emotional moments the unbelievable great "the poet and the pendulum" live at wembley 2015. And if you feel ready, enjoy their masterpiece "the greatest show on earth" live at Tampere, Finnland. And it´s always recommended to inform about the stories of these songs, they mostly have a deeper or personal meaning to the band.

Hey Welcome Back! Couple of suggestions for other bands to check out. Within Temptaion: (Somewhere, Angels, or Dangerous would be good starting points), Amaranthe (365, GG6, 1,000,000 Light years, Army of the Night, 82 All the Way), Arch Enemy (You Will Know My Name, Nemesis, The Eagle Flies Alone), Unleash the Archers: (Awakening, Northwest Passage, Tonight We Ride) If you want more Floor sans Nightwish while you were away she was on a Dutch TV Show called Beste Zangers, it's not metal but really showcased her vocals. In addition during the break between the last Nightwish Album and the current one she did a side project with Pagan's Mind guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad, called Northward check out While love Died when you get a chance. Also I know your channel is for you to discover new music but other than what you have reacted to on here I'm not really sure what you have listened to so a couple better known bands (in the U.S.) would be Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, and Halestorm. If you are not familiar with them they would all be worth seeing as well.

There is a very special intense duet song u should react. Nightwish-planet hell. Floor or Tarja version were equally good. If u like operatic vocal, go for Tarja's 2005 end of an era concert.

Also love two other things, the one of the most used words almost "This is metal that I didn't even know I needed!". Secondly you editing. The harmonies between Floor and Marko were one of the first things I really liked about the "new" line up. I'm a fan since 2000, and I love the stuff with their first singer Tarja. But as soon as I heard the first chorus with both voices ("I wish I had an angel") from the Wacken 2013 concert then came a big "Wow!" out of my mouth :-) Btw: Marko mentioned in an interview (sadly don't remember where) that with Floor it's the first time he doesn't have to care about not drowning the lead singer out with his voice.
