Je-sus Christ… that is the most beautiful playing of any piano I have ever seen in my entire life. You encompass everything that playing the piano should be like, the soul and spirit you put into it is unlike anything I’ve ever seen… thank you so much for this, it’s incredibly inspiring for any pianist like myself.
I closed my eyes when I listened to you play this song so beautifully, it reminds me of my Mom so much...she loved Elvis and this is one of his songs that remind me of her. My Mom has passed now...Thank you Jon. Mom, I love you and miss you so much ( you are always on my mind)..
Oh my. Your talent is breathtaking. My father was a pianist rip. And this puts me back sitting on the couch listening to him as a child. Keep playing. X
I got to say that I stumbled upon you about a week ago, while doing taxes of all things!! Figured there was clearly something wrong with you. And I was right, you are an odd ball. You play the piano and the strings reverberate what you tell them too. The rest of us get to hear the result as a sound, so beautiful and eloquently piercing the air. My God man, I swear if I close my eyes and listen I can FEEL what is about to come next. My eyes load with tears as I listen. I especially like the very endings. The soft gentleness of putting the thoughts of the words of the song to a sound. And then just like it began it gently ends and it is over. Its really quite remarkable. Then of course, I save it to a favorite and play it 50 times!! I want to thank you for be who you are. For knowing "there is something wrong with you", and embracing it. You're no victim, your a dam hero. In fact your one the the biggest men I've seen on RU-vid. And this world could use a whole lot more heros as we have a country (USA) full of victims. I celebrated 30 years of continuous sobriety back in February. So I get it. I have faced some harsh realities and consequences of my own. I'm not quite as short as you and I sure as hell can't play the piano like you either. I can do other things though!!. Clearly, there is something wrong with me as well. Take good care my friend. Thank you for the blessing of who you are and what you do. Mike
I really like how you play piano I would like to play like you do but I mean you have hard worked to reach this level. All you are playiung has a touch of jazz and give your work a particular sound I appreciate and thank you to share them. Scuse me for my poor English, I'm French !
Definitely the most beautiful rendition of this song I have ever heard. I have a love-hate relationship with "Chariots of Fire"...Love the beautiful melody...Hate that it usually just goes on and on and on and makes me nervous, but you give it a lovely ending and peaceful ending. Thank you.
It's a blessing to find such beautiful music so wonderfully rendered- and a joy knowing that I can hit the 'like' button before the first note, and never regret it. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
Sublime. Passionate. Lyrical. Stunned by your beautiful playing and interpretation. Thank you so much, Jon, for sharing your gift. (And lucky me, with lots of videos from your back catalogue still to experience for the first time🙂.)
Great work, my young friend. You are amazing. We enjoy your choices of music. I am a big Willie Nelson, Etta James and Ray Charles fan. May you continue to be richly blessed.
Compelling, thoughtfull arrangement with great chord substitution and beautiful execution. Tempo changes are very effective. Will I try to add your version to my repitoire...YES!
My mother used to play this on the piano when I was a kid. Played it with same heart and feel like you did. Thank you for bringing back fond memories 🙂
Hello Jon Michael, this is very beautiful and moving. I purchased the sheet music straight after hearing it. I was wondering if you had the finger notation available anywhere, in particular that tricky and very fast run in the middle where you use your left hand intermittently on notes in treble clef. It will take me forever to figure it out and I want to get practicing it. Thank you, Christian
What I don't understand is how you can learn these songs so well, so completely, so many songs. To learn one song, much easier than these, literally takes me months. But maybe that is because I didn't start learning piano until my 30's and most days, I struggle to find even 15 minutes of time to practice. How much do you practice? How long does it take you to get to the point where you can play one of these dongs so well? I am so envious.
WOW, This is great and right now I have it on "loop" so I can hear it several times in a row. AND... I see next up is your version of Bridge over troubled water. These are a couple of my favorites. I will definitely search your songs. I get stuck on songs and listen to tons of different versions. I have never subscribed to anything on here before, but now I must. Keep it up!! Thanks for sharing your talent!!
I look forward to your video every day when I come home from work. So relaxing listening to such beautiful music. Your version of the songs you play are amazing! Please do you’ll be in my heart, theme from Tarzan. Btw, I’m following you on Instagram. Thank you so much. 👏💖🤗😘👍
